I'll be honest, I'm not sure why exactly I expected there to be anything FF related at SE's presentation. I should have known it would just be all Marvel stuff. :|

So a deck I run that works really well and counters the corner meta in standard rulesets is Lunar Bahamut-Matoya-Cecil Harvey, Nael van Darnus-and and any left/right 8 card. You can substitute nael for any left/right 9 card and Cecil for Hien. You need matoya and lunar bahamut though. They have great synergy taking center board.

Last night I had a run of Delubrum Reginae that took sixteen minutes, almost to the dot. It was beautiful. Like, the boss fight against the four mechanical guys went super fast, and we didn't even lift up into the air during Bombslinger.

I went to bed with my Honors at 3/8/3, and only 13.4mil mettle away from upgrading Valor a ninth time. If I stick with DR and Dal, only doing skirmishes to pad out the costs of dying (or to try for those field notes), until I reach the 50x achievements, I will fall just shy of adding 18 proofs' worth of Honors (plus the two proofs I have right now). So grind out that last 1.8mil, and that will be more than enough to get to 4/10/6.

That is not terrible. And I may do more of those two things, and some more Castrum, for relic grind reasons anyhow. Eventually I'll go back to PotD for the remaining Artifacts, or HoH for a solo attempt (plus potential Emotions), but quite a few of my pre-xpac goals will be met by sticking the course. Now if only I didn't have to work as much. lol

I finally got the last cards needed for the TT mount. You pick it up at the gold saucer with an awesome cutscene and it plays the TT music while riding it!

Congrats! Yeah I got mine about 10 days ago. It's such a goofy mount, but I like when they do weird unique stuff like that. I kinda hope they do more "collection" mounts. Like, put in a mount for getting 150 mounts or something.

It's funny you say that, because I am hoping to hit or close in on 150 before EW comes out. I'd be in the definite minority of players who'd have a 150 Mount mount. xD

Yeah I do run a small discord server for my group. After we clear o12 idk how much more content we plan to do. I still haven't done any extremes on BLU at any level.

I hate it when I don't get as much done on a weekend as I've intended, because real life reasons that come and distract me. But at least I'm still making progress on my relics and Honors.

Valor is done, leaving me with a spare Proof of Mettle as well as another 340 million mettle to grind for full Honors.

On a side note, I'm somewhere around 18mil out of 20mil on gil earned from leves. A few more rounds of coffee biscuits to go, and I will have the last Currency achievement.

I really need to get back to Zadnor and farm mettle. This past week I've just been focusing on crafting for money and scrip. I still need two more firmament scrip mounts. I have family visiting for a week so my time to play won't be very much. So after that I should probably get back to Zadnor.

Just finished our 3rd out of 4 master trials in FFXI. Hardest fights in the game, where even with a 60min time limit you might time-out. And no rewards but lockstyle/glamour gear (and a title for each), ha. But still, real fun to do

I am currently at 8842 commendations, having earned nine more today alone from Mentor Roulette runs. People may or may not enjoy how I play Whm in casual content, or the tricks I have for certain dungeons that are hardly used or spoken of nowadays. hahaha...

I mean, really, I was in ARF just now (the first lv60 dungeon), and I did things like telling the tank (who asked how I like big pulls) that I like my pulls like I like my toys, marking one of the turrets in the first boss with a "Do Not Attack" marker (we beat the boss before it finished self-detonating), noting how thaumaturges need to die before conjurors in the last line of trash pulls (after two of the party members got hit with Breakga right before the first thaumaturge died), and so on. Oh! and handling the T8 Lite mechanics during the second boss, because so many people apparently don't know how to do the buddy ring or explosion marker. =p

He said Gilgamesh sounded cool. He tried getting onto Adamantoise, only for his own followers to flood it to the point where he couldn't get in. So he settled for Cactuar, and my goodness... lol

There will be cross server play when endwalker comes out in a couple months but right now if you arent on aeither youll be playing alone

Certain servers have established communities, like Balmung is for RP, and Gilgamesh is for raiders, etc. But for the most part it doesn't matter

You can go to the main Aetheryte in any major city and teleport to another server in your data center. I think they also just added a feature where you can login on any server in your data center and it will log you in in your starting city on that server.

Also when you queue into a dungeon or whatever, it will pool people from every server in the data center.

It's still so weird to me that the population is exploding at the end of the expansion, when we're still months from Endwalker. But I think that's actually a good time to get into it, you have months to catch up to 80 and finish the MSQ, then after that, you have 4 games worth of side content to do lol

Prae, Castrum, Extreme level trials in which half of the people go in blind or expect to be carried, and sometimes the same leveling dungeon on repeat multiple times in a week. The roulette is pain. I'm not even halfway done with the roulette.

Yeah, there's being a tactless ass with good points and a mass following, and then there's being malicious for the sake of being malicious. These stream snipers are more to the latter, and this game and its community does not need that sort of behavior.

I finally got my Gabriel Mark III. It dropped on my 48th clear of DRn. Also, I got my 50th clear, with each of the last few clears taking about 18-20 minutes (depending largely on the number of deaths).

So next I'm shooting for eighteen more clears of Dalriada, then I'm going from there.

After that will have to come the duels (I should get Sart's field note from his fight), my next go at solo HoH, some more Palace grinding, and any additional DR runs or mettle grinding besides. Also: the Gogo clear I've yet to do. lol

A DR Savage clear, just one, would be nice too so I can 1) say I've done it, and 2) acquire another multi-seater mount. On that note, I should get the Gwibers once I have the time for them, and maybe see about learning and clearing E4s for that mount. As for Astrope, that's still looking like April of next year unless I do the Deutsch trick with a few buddies and spam a guildhest. <_<

Oh yeah, and I'm now sitting at 8902 commendations.

Rathalos will probably be easy, just slow and annoying. And who knows if BA runs are still a thing. And I REALLY need to get back to Bozja/DR/Zadnor for those mounts. And I need somebody to accept my RAF code so I can get those two mounts. >____> The rest really are just a bit of grinding. I'm actually close on some of those Frontline mounts, but when the hell do people play Frontlines anymore lol

So yeah all in all I think I will reach the 150 mount mark before Endwalker. And I *might* end up buying a mount or two during the anniversary sale next month. But we'll see. I want to refrain from that, but man some of those mounts are dope.
