I pre-ordered the CE out of Washington because EB sucks. It actually shut down in my town now because of the C-Virus. Hopefully its good, and I heard a number of fans were requesting co-op play. Hopefully that gets added at some point.

I thought it was coming out October 19th !!!!

I just found out it's not for another month after that, I was all ready to start a countdown. I had various things to entertain myself with (Shows mainly) till then, and now I have to figure out crap to do for a whole nother month!!!

I'm playing Street Kid first probably, it's kinda a hard choice for me between nomad and that, I have no interest in the Corp runner, so I'll do that last i'm sure.

I absolutely can't wait to play this, but DAMN do I wish they had gone straight up with Shadowrun instead of just cyberpunk 2077. It's pretty much the same, but with more stuff added, and it would have massively more stuff to add in expansions etc. Maybe this will eventually lead to a similar type game for shadowrun, which could be insanely awesome (with decking being a virtual game within a virtual game etc hehe).

I have never played much of The witcher 3 tbh, and meant to go back to it, so, I think, I will try it now (gonna download it again). I don't think I have the expansion but I can always buy that later if I need it. I didn't like the combat in it when I tried it last time (but I was coming from playing Dark Souls 3), so now that it's been awhile I might be able to get into it more.

I hear people have put thousands of hours into the witcher 3 AND I have seen the witcher TV series now, so I'll be more invested in it. Hopefully that'll make up for the extra month.

He's not altogether wrong. All they've released to date are the Witcher games and their spinoffs, and of the Witcher games, only the third one was all that well received by a wide audience. The first was very hit-or-miss, with really awkward combat that a lot of people just couldn't slog through (though those that did make it through enough to experience the storytelling and worldbuilding would agree that that part is fantastic). The second had more intuitive combat (or so I've heard. I still need to play it), but was still not the most accessible.

For those that have liked all three Witcher games, CDPR being behind Cyberpunk is enough to make it exciting, but that's not actually that many people.

when what we've seen, it's very clearly and obviously not anything like the witcher. if anything, it should be compared to deus ex, because...that's the only thing it can be compared to.

when what we've seen, it's very clearly and obviously not anything like the witcher. if anything, it should be compared to deus ex, because...that's the only thing it can be compared to.

i absolutely loved the last 2 deus ex games, and thats what im expecting from here, just a lot faster and flashier

a lot of people expect ciri to be in it, too.

Looks great. Witcher 3 was the first game I played from CD Project Red and I loved it. I hope Cyberpunk 2077 is just as good. Only time will tell.

I dont expect it but it wouldnt be all that surprising for her to have a cameo or for there to be a subtle reference about her as an Easter egg

Not quite bro, almost every game they have made has been considered at least pretty good.

Thronebreake 91% approval rate on Steam 85 Metacritic
Gwent 86% approval rate on Steam 80 Metacritic

Their only game below at least an 80 on Metacritic and below an 80% approval rate on Steam is the Witcher digital board game.

Actually thinking they have only made one good game is a joke, unless you think games need a 93 on metacritic to be good, which plenty of amazing games don't hit.
