I had multiple finishers back when I used to make Create-A-Wrestlers in older WWE games (before they became completely shit).

At one point I had a kneeling Fujiwara Armbar (literally what Becky Lynch uses as the Dis-arm-her) that I called "The Joystick".

At another point, I had two - a power finisher and a submission. The power move was a double underhook powerbomb off the middle turnbuckle (called the "Nervous Breakdown"), while the submission was a ground-based Dragon Sleeper with legs wrapped around the torso (called the "Tranquilizer"). I was sort of going for an escaped mental patient/Mick Foley-as-Mankind sort of vibe for that character.

At one point I had a technical wrestler named Michael Blackburn (who was British) whose finishers were the "Black Out" and the "Afterburner". I forget exactly what those moves were, but the Black Out was a STO/sleeper-style submission (obviously), while the Afterburner was something off the top rope (I think it might have been a body press that converted into something else, like a DDT, but I'm fuzzy on that one).

I was always more concerned with getting a move named so that it would fit the theme of the CAW than I was overly interested in the move itself. Like having "Uncle Slam" (a total Hogan-style patriotic babyface who literally dressed like Uncle Sam) do the "Spirit of '76" (and who, in promos, would say stuff like "What'cha gonna do, when the Spirit of '76 takes hold of you?"). Or the "Warrior 2000" (a time traveler from 6 months into the future, who was constantly amazed by all the primitive technology of the past, and who would talk about such fantastic future technology as "microwaves" and "cellular phones") having a finisher called the "Time Warp".

Looks like the lazy weaksauce way of performing it. I'd inverted gorilla press (or does that have its own name?) into a backbreaker. More of a crowd pop that way with the delayed expectation and great for photos, plus it'd look far more harmful

Looks like the lazy weaksauce way of performing it.

Well, that was also a simple demo video to show the move, not me going looking for the most devestating version ever delivered.

Plus, a lot of moves that are basically set-up or transitional moves can be turned into fairly impressive finishers with a bit of tweaking to make them look more powerful or complicated.

Assuming by "inverted" you mean holding them so they're facing up instead of down... no idea? Can't think of an alternate name for it (though I do have a friend who's a super-nerd when it comes to wrestling who might know).

It would sort of be like starting with an Argentine backbreaker (ie, Luger's Torture Rack) and turning it into a press, before converting it into a traditional backbreaker.

Yeah, I almost called it a reverse gorilla press but then I was thinking that could have all other kinds of interpretations, including having the opponent lying on his back while doing two-handed push-ups on him (actually, there's probably an actual term of that push-up-like maneuver)

No, the body is held very differently. I'm thinking more like:

Except holding on the backbreaker to avoid that goofy looking spinout at the end. I'd probably drop a knee before the backbreaker as well to reduce the over-sold spin.

Of course, I'd have to resist the urge to a variation of the Camel Clutch afterward. (Speaking of, nobody really does that any more, do they? It used to be such a common heel submission. I guess Iron Sheik both popularized and retired it.)
