Do you think it's always been like this? Were you like this as a kid?

It's true that as a kid I'd probably answer just one game most of the time, but I can't really imagine having that kind of focus anymore.

Most of the one gamers are probably voting based on some multiplayer game they routinely play.

Even as a kid I'd probably have said 2. 1 game on console, 1 on handheld.

I've pretty much always played multiple games at a time, but that's because I have my multiplayer game(s) and then I'll work through a singleplayer game one at a time.

Right now it's Ghost of Tsushima, Valorant, and a little League of Legends from time to time.

I played a bigger variety of games as a kid when I had a ton of free time.

Now a days, I don't game that much, and when I do, it's probably only 1 or 2 games a week.

Usually have two going at once from different genres.

That's not counting any multiplayer games I may be playing.

I can't juggle two big RPGs at once but I usually have 1 game I'm playing on PC and one game on PS4/Switch at once. Then multiplayer games like Hearthstone and phone games

I'm very bad at juggling multiple games. It doesn't make sense and it's definitely some weird mental blocker thing that I just haven't been able to break through. Like it's to the point where I think I want to change back to the next game but something about it seems like a hassle so I end up just not playing anything. It's dumb and I'm dumb.

I have two mobile games that I play daily. For single player console stuff I play one at a time.

I used to be this way for a long time but recently I've been playing like 3-4 different games. Dunno why

It depends, I've been exclusively dedicated to games before. KH3, Spider-Man and FF7R are some recent examples, but usually it depends on what I'm in the mood for, or if I get stuck I'll switch it up and play a different game to relax

I've always juggled 5-7 games except when I would get fanatically into one (GH, DotA, CS etc), and even then it would usually be 2-3, with those as a break.

I've got a few smaller/more replayable games that I will pick up at literally any time and play for a couple hours just as a change of pace from whatever else I'm doing.

I don't generally play more than one at a time beyond those, though.

Main dish - Usually some kind of RPG or action game
Handheld - could be anything (not really playing lately because working from home has eliminated my commute)
Multiplayer - usually a fighting game or FPS, something I can play with others. Sometimes rotate between as many as 3 different games in a week
Palette cleanser - For when I don't feel like reading story and stuff. Often sports games, platformers, rhythm games, etc.

I'm usually in the middle of five or more games at once. It just feels normal to me now.

I'm always playing Hearthstone, in addition to whatever game I'm really playing. Before Hearthstone, there was WoW. Before WoW, there was EverQuest.

I've been even more fragmented than usual lately, though. Normally I have one main game and that's it, that's all I'm playing. This year, I have a list of over 50 games I've at least touched upon. Passing interests, cheap sales, the itch.io bundle, impulses to return to the past...if I spend more than 10 hours on a game, that seems to be the exception rather than the norm this year, which is incredibly unlike me.
