Whoops, I thought the last day to farm stuff from the event missions in Arknights was today, but it was actually yesterday

oh well, I still got plenty of stuff. I'm even more lost than usual for things to do, since I not only have tons of upgrade materials, but also a lot of rolls courtesy of the half-anniversary freebies (I think the intention was that you throw said rolls at Nian's bait banner, but I'd already decided to only spend 10). So I have tons of materials, but no new characters to upgrade.

Yeah I'm just stocking up some things on the side before packing it up until the next big release (Bagpipe I guess), there's the ongoing achievement-based rewards event but that's about it

Last day of GBF Treasure Rush, most interesting thing I got throughout was an extra 3k crystals lol
I actually did get a Murg and Vortex dupe but yeaaah lol primal water/wind
Also two days where I got 1 chest of red bricks and blue centrums respectively

Granblue has had tons of stuff to do over the past couple weeks, yeah. I'm kind of chilling now since I have all my Magna summon uncaps and most of my Astral weapons taken care of. I'm getting gated hard by weapon exp fodder of all things, and the best ways to farm that are M2 (which is a bad thing to farm atm because they're getting new drops soon) and boxing events, which I realized right after said event ended. GW should be decent at least.

also I'm still salty over Summer Ferry getting shafted with a SR, I've been waiting for her since I started the game and I have ~730 rolls waiting to spark but now I can't. Did most of my Magna ULB uncaps but I've kinda not yet gone into Astral Weapon farming because I'm not actually sure which would be really needed for me at this point, I guess Lu Woh farming at least gives a nice DATA weapon which Magna Light seems to always need so there's that
But most importantly Lumi Omega *finally* gets guaranteed buff removal lol

You mean like beyond what you need to get to 5*? I don't know. I haven't gotten there.

I assume they're needed for limit breaks.

No, those purple crystals are used for limit breaks. The ones used in the hero enhancement shop or whatever. First limit break is 100, second is 120, so I assume it goes up to 200 for MLB. I may know a guy who may or may not have whaled for Lupina and thats how I have that information...

I do happen to know a guy who whaled for her weapon, but unfortunately for said guy, he did like 20 pulls and only got an Armada, despite a bunch of dong signatures :(

Oh my God. I've been doing that chapter 5 boss wrong the whole time.

He only does the teleport punch if you run out of his reach. If you stay close to home he basically only ever does those slow ass attacks.

Basically he does a thing where he walks slow and if he gets within reach he does a super fast punch so you always want to stay just out of reach. Once he stops moving you're free to unload on him all you want because all his attacks at that point get telegraphed with red zones.

Eva is actually really good in arena. But I do need a wall to abuse. She's basically a ranged tank and can destroy any melee tanks. She also beats any ranged characters that she can outtank obviously.

In any case I won way more game with her in my arena. She's too low level to shine in Colosseum tho

Yeah I meant it as being some of the raid 6-Dragon weapons are decent side bonuses for the primary Astral farming. I guess it's mostly that while the Astral damage boost is always nice especially for those elements that can't reliably hit cap (Magna Fire/Water/Light/Non-Emnnity Dark lol) ultimately it's kinda just more damage unless you mainhand the weapons or ULB them for the supplemental effects, though to be fair some of them are pretty good mainhands so you don't have to go out of your way to ULB them
Of course the arms race these days has been accelerated quite a bit to the point where feels like random pubbed UBHLs clear pretty easily these days lol

I don't play anymore, but when I did play games with a gachapon system, my goal was to be powerful. I went down the path of a whale on multiple PC MMO's. And then I went down that path again on mobile games.

But there's always a power creep to keep you chasing. To keep you spending. Eventually I just stopped playing and my wallet was better off for it.

Speaking of PvP, I had the most unusual experience in the colosseum. My team has about 26k DPS and 85k toughness. I thought for sure I would lose horribly to a guy who had about 23k DPS and 125k toughness, but I won with Lupina and Tinia in tact lol

Also why do I find the event music so catchy :3

WHAT THE FUCK. I hate that Viper leader guy. He literally teleport punched me 3 times in a row, back and forth. I wasn't even off screen; I could still see him, then *poof*, he disappears and punches me, disappears, punches, disappears, punches.

Yeah he sucks. I've been trying Tyran's theory and it doesn't always work for me. He will also do the teleport hit 2-3 times no matter what once he starts doing it, so you have to just run around til he stops. Also his spirit bomb is stupid, and if you get too close to him, it's actually impossible to dodge. I learned that the hard way just now

For anyone playing the game, if you're forced to choose, get the free weapon and mileage the character later. Duplicate weapons are good. Duplicate characters are bad.

Yeah I saw the free stuff news. I've actually heard the opposite though, that you should get the character pity and then save the weapon for later. A lot of Koreans are holding out for the next op champ because at the very least you can still use the weapon on another character

Actually this makes slightly more sense from a numbers standpoint since the game treats 4* ex and 5* ex in the same bucket.

I've been full committing on Eva and Sohee. I think maybe tankiness is a bit overlooked in this game due to a lot of DPS centric units being 3*s. But exp and getting their stones have been excruciatingly slow
