Yeah Ch. 5 is brutal. I had to keep powering up to be able to at least reduce their numbers. I recommend doing a few of the Nightmare difficulty stuff first til that starts kicking your ass. Ch 2 Nightmare is like the first 4 sections of Ch 5 in terms of difficulty.

Ch. 5 has a lot of sections that are just pure story/puzzles though, so even though it seems like there are 7 sections, it's as long as the other chs

Yeah, also only the first map was dark heavy which is what I was struggling with. Looks like other maps I can use other units on.

The units seem normalized to some extent. I submitted lvl 40 units but they were raised to lvl 50 in arena.

And lmao one game I won because I was playing Loraine and healed to more HP before they had just before time ran out lol.

Haven't made it to the boss yet. Stamina Regen is so slow in this game & there's no potion type item.

Fwiw I beat Omega Level 2 Scylla in DL just now. Was a fun fight.

If you buy 5 of the coffee grinders in the purple coin shop, you can get a stam refresh and +1 to max stam. But yeah, outside of that there are the missions I guess

The coffee grinders are super limited though. I'm working on it. Just ended up playing mostly PSO 2 today.

Oh god I beat him. That was brutal. There's no real good tips for beating him. Just gotta dodge everything lel. And basically not stay in one place for any second.

Oh, I guess using a short activation skill would be good. If a skill makes you too immobile, you're gonna get hit eventually. The guy teleports and hits you with a fist instantaneously, which is only dodgeable if you're running diagonally

You know for the town you build in Guardian Tales? Is it best to keep destroying the lower level buildings as new ones become available, or should I try to keep them up to snuff by upgrading them?

Work on making sure all bars are green first. Once you have that, there should be just a little space left over to build some extra buildings. Build a higher level one first, then demolish a lower level one so the bar never dips below green.

Lee has three different costumes, so that's quite the dedication. My best girl (Skorpion) only got one early on and still doesn't have another.

Could you imagine someone liking G36 the most and being so dedicated to her that they collected all seven of her costumes? That would be insane.

Lower star buildings for the Heavenwhatsis for Guardian Tales take less red thingies to upgrade. That's one big thing that might make it favorable to build over the other 2* buildings

Here I am with 8 full pulls on the weapon gacha with no exclusive weapon to show for it =_=. I'm pretty sure I'm out of f2p gems for a full pull that I can get within a week's worth of grinding

I think I'm done with hero Gacha forever at this point. Will pull exclusively on equipment and use mileage to buy the Heroes.

Yeah I'm done with Heroes forever too. You can't even make mono-teams with a full 3* hero pool anyways, though I'm going for pure long range damage buffs regardless of elements atm. But weapon gacha has even worse rates... It's actually really difficult to have a hero and their corresponding weapon

If you have every 3* and 2* you can make mono element for every team. You can do it easily with the 1* characters but they are so bad and don't have chain skills even after you evolve them.

Btw, in World 2, that lvl 70 boss Erina is actually pretty easily beatable with a controlled character that can attack through the wall.

Just hide behind the torches and it stops all of her moves. Just dance around the torches and attack til she drops, pretty much

I noticed Erina in the raid was pretty easy but obviously the time limit is still a problem.

Heck, even the Team Rocket knockoffs are much harder in the raids though in terms of attacking patterns. But Erina in her World 2 fight literally uses one move that's completely stopped by a wall so I dunno, maybe she's just particularly easy.

I didn't know that I can't reuse characters so I ended up blowing all my best guys in one fight but I did almost knock off half of the Team Rocket's hp. It would've been more if I hadn't fat fingered my chain skill

World 6 for Guardian was drop dead easy. It's by far the shortest ch and has the easiest final boss to boot especially coming off of World 5's insane boss

I spread out trying to match my best units weaknesses which was a mistake. I should have just went ham on the mad panda trio. Whatever we have a week to kill it. It'll be dead for sure in 2 more days. I think I'm just gonna ignore the Red Viper raid boss.

Catgirl Kurumi event is up. I say event, but its mostly login and do a few daily dates and whatnot, need to $$$ the rest.

F2P can manage like 17 summons out of the 50 needed for the pity roll. Rest needs to be bought, but you get pity rolls every 5 rolls, so the total amount to spend is probably like $25 or so. Not too bad considering how the gacha works otherwise in this.

I got the vampire girl's staff. I've been kind of lukewarm on her since she just wasn't very good but the staff effect looks really strong so I'm going to enhance it and give it a shot and see what happens.

Ok the staff is not as strong as I once thought it was, it is, however, still really strong.

Anyone want to give me advice on the reward tree thingy? There's no way to get all of it unless I just dump all my gems on stamina.

I am thinking:

Grab the 200 gems from Tier 2, then go back to Tier 1 and grab all the Awakening gems since you can't use stamina to farm them, then go back to Tier 2 and grab those Awakening gems having to power through the evolution stones in the process, then anything left over spend on the remaining tier 3 nodes.

If you have Tinia, you go for her materials, if not you go for the purple currencies and then the awakening gems. Basically you should just keep going at it and prioritize what you'll immediately need. Supposedly the passive you get from 5*ing is pretty crucial so I'd say the purple currencies are worth a bit more than the awakening stones, but the tickets should be your last priority cuz the 5-6 tickets ain't shit compared to awakening stones.

I've been seeing more and more post-honeymoon phase woes posts from people talking about this game lmao, and I'm starting to get it too. It's been increasingly difficult to progress even though the main chapters are still incredibly fun. Tower 50 is also basically impossible if you don't have a healer. If I rolled Sarnga, shouldn't be a problem, but I'm 10 full pulls into the weapon gacha with no exclusive. If I don't get one within 2 weeks, I'm probably quitting cuz I'm starting to see this is gonna be my life if I keep playing this game

Eh I just auto the resource dungeon for the most part. Most of the "post honeymoon woes" I hear complaints about are the lack of Awakening stones. The 5* rank also takes a tooooooooooon of stones. The crap in the rewards section is only 1/2 of the way to 4*.

I'd say the Awakening stones are the most valuable.

I'm hard stuck in a ton of content due to a lack of exclusive weapons. It's not hard to see the sheer difference in firepower between Sarnga and non-Sarnga, even though I do have a yellow 5* weapon with the same element. Also yeah there aren't enough awakening stones to go around for anybody but your main and maybe one other member. It's also difficult to justify investing in a 2* natural unit when there's no recall system

Also take it from me who's played a ton including the resource dungeons but it is possible to get stuck in content even at like max lvl, pretty decent awakening/wep lvls etc.

There was a huge controversy in the Korean side of things, where people already looked badly upon Kakaogames, and a misogynistic line made it into the game. So they had a huge strike and mass quitting to the point they had to respond or the game was gonna flat out die in Korea.

I've seen this happen to E7, though they never actually truly solved 90% of the problem, just on the summoning so that you truly can get just about every character in the game except ML 5*s. Too bad you couldn't fucking build new units without sacrificing much of about 3 months of time. So since the response wasn't quite good enough, they just... let Korean playerbase die in favor of getting mucho cash from Global, where in the US they frequently top charts for gacha games. There was a revolt in the US side as well, but you know how it is with US and their protests. They don't quite keep it up, so literally nothing changed except 2 of the worst features in the game's history added a month ago, thereby solving none of the game's problems.

On the topic of this update, however, just the guaranteed selector for a character and their weapon will probably fix most of the game's current problems
