Want to keep playing SinoAlice because Yoko Taro is the best, but damn if it this isn't the most mediocre gacha game I've ever played. The fact that you need a ton of weapons of every type in every color and matching armor sets to do the harder content is unreasonable, and the fate grand order tear drop rates on roles is soul crushing.

Currently playing Azur Lane. I was playing Crestoria until it crashed on start up for a couple days. It might work again, but as much as I loved the story I dont miss it. It was too much of a hassle.

For tips on Guardian Tales, there is an easy to unlock skill called the chain skill for all the characters in the first node of their awakening.

It'll say like wounded (chain) downed or something like that with a description of what it'll do. These will change the way you fight quite a bit.

Basically if the first part of the chain is wounded, you inflict wounded using a skill or a passive, then the character's icon will show up next to your skill button. Click it and they will use the chain skill and turn the first part of the chain to the second part of the chain, which would be downed in this case.

I have two gunners with wounded > downed and the vampire chick with downed > wounded. This lets me inflict wounded, use gunner 1's chain, use vampire chick's chain, then use gunner 2's chain in quick succession. This will be far by the most dps you can do at the early points of the game. They do have a large cooldown that you can't see, but it's about 20 seconds long

So it's possible to make a team comp based on a repeating triangle of effects too, like wounded > downed > launched > wounded, but you wouldn't be able to do this forever, just stunlock your enemy for about 8 seconds

Seems like it requires 2* or better. I'm not sure if evolving a 1* counts as I haven't done it.

Loraine chains off anything and has real strong heals so you should have her on almost every team.

Characters chain with themselves too so for example the starter Knight CS chains off airborne so if you equip a Weapon that inflicts airborne you'll always have a chain guaranteed.

Also you can't do this. Chain Skills have a 20 seconds cool down. You can keep them stunned for however long you can though. Just not forever.

Ok so Colosseum PvP in Guardian Tales is kinda pointless. The only prize for ranking is gems.

I haven't unlocked Arena yet and don't know if that's any different but do far it looks like you can basically just lose 3 fights for your daily if you have to and call it quits for the day.

Btw bottom tier in the Colosseum gives 500 gems and #1 gives 3500 so ranking is mostly for bragging rights since you have to spend way more than 3000 to get that high.

Against my better judgment, I've been trying some mobile MMOs.

Aura Kingdom 2 and Dragon Raja seem okay so far, but after my experience with Perfect World and World of Kings, I'm remaining incredibly cautious.

I really enjoyed Dragon Raja while I played it and still actually have nothing particularly bad to say about the game but working from home has killed my enthusiasm for it since I'm never more than 5 feet away from PSO2.

Okay so uhhh...Was I not supposed to fight the Suspicious Knight in the secret stage at the very beginning? She was level 30 and I was level 5, but I beat her by exploiting her stupid AI. 3 full auto combos, then run and she would whiff her triple slash attack. Run up and repeat like 100 times.

Wow the additional difficulty for Guardian Tales is actual continuation of the story on the same area instead of just being a retread on the same map. They even change the map based on the story continuity. I'm curious as to how far the changes go.

Meanwhile, 3 full pulls on char, 2 full pulls on wep, only have 1 3* char to show for it. The rates truly are bad, but I'm hoping for at least one more 3*

Yeah that's how I beat her too. There's another challenge fight later on that you get one shot if you make any mistake and is difficult to kill even if you can tank her shots due to high hp and def. That one is definitely not as cheesable

decided to level Hellagur since he seems to be a strong choice for the second CC and suddenly half of the 950k LMD I'd saved up is gone. I look forward to the day when they finally fix Trading Posts.

oh well, time to stock up on Loxic Kohl/Grindstone and then sleep. I could get one of the skins but eh. Maybe they'll buff Swire someday...

That Occult Girl and the Secret Chamber quest in Guardian Tales is kinda fucked up. Just beat part 3. Had very bad units and not enough upgrade materials for them but after much perseverance I finally got a few lucky breaks with the chain skills and won.

It just means that we'll get Summer Kumby in another 4 years probably. Someone suggested that Zodiacs will probably get alts with whoever the next Zodiac release was, so you can use them with whoever they have crossfates/banter with, which is kind of neat. Can't wait to spark 2 Zodiacs a year instead of 1.

and as much as I like Anila, I can't blow my spark on her when Summer Ferry is 90% coming up. Her kit is merely pretty good (and she wouldn't be able to fit into my existing Staff/Harp team) so she's not a must-have for me. Buff for actual Anila when though

actually, none of the Summer characters thus far have really impressed gameplay-wise, I don't think any of them really measure up to the strong ones from last Summer (Halmal and Alex and maybe Cag). Or even Summer Grea from two years ago, honestly.

Magia Record isn't done with summer events either. Apparently another summer event featuring Kyoko is coming in a couple of days.

Man, farming orundum has taken a huge toll on my cash. Probably around 200K LMD :(

But it did get me a fair amount. Still though, 3,200 or 2,000 LMD + a crapton of time waiting for stages to clear for 20 orundum isnt that great a deal :<

Every 300 mileage tickets gets you a spark. No time limit either like other sparking systems that are only good for the banner you pulled on.

Edit: forgot to add don't purchase the Divine goddess with mileage you can get her for free in heavenhold.

The only 3* char that you can get for free atm is the Goddess that you can unlock for 1.2 mil pink point thing in the town you manage. But I still want at least 2 3*s as supposedly they're usually just straight up better version of a 2* unit you would get for free and serve the same purpose. Also the weapons are really important, and you're usually recommended to get the paired weapon for your character

And yeah the game is fun, but if I would want to get serious with the game, I would probably start over with a bunch stronger pool for the late game, which sounds daunting and I'll only do if my next 2-3 full pulls I probably have left from f2p yields absolutely nothing

For 2*, I heard for PVP, Marianne is really good, and for PVE and general tank use, Marvin is really good. Both are unlockable b4 you get to Arena. The ch where you get Marvin is actually quite tough. I do have a really good team so it wasn't that hard per se, but I did have to re-try a few bosses.

I actually breezed through the entirety of Ch. 4. Ch 3 gave me the most struggles and it looks like I'm in for a bad time with Ch 5 since it's the same element composition as Ch 4.

All my best units are Basic. Only light units are Sohee and the captain who is terrible. The final boss of the Occult Girl and the Secret Chamber quest chain was legitimately frustrating and hard.

Ch 5 is like much much harder than Ch 4. Like significantly harder for whatever reason. I am controlling a ranged character, but I'm legit getting 3 shot by normal mobs. Been constantly resetting stage for a win because it's pretty hard to dodge everything amidst all the chaos

Meanwhile I rolled Tinia, so this account is definitely here to stay. I'm on the average now I think, and I need to roll one more 3* within the next 2 pulls for a flat average.

Also no clue how Arena works, but I'm guessing I need to log in during the time listed. Hopefully that's adjusted to my timezone

I play Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia and thats it right now. I have been playing for 2 years and it has to be one of the most f2p friendly game out there. I played The Walking Dead Road to survival for 3 years and it got to the point where it was spend to stay relevant or quit.

That's nuts. I've yet to pull a unique 5* wep in 4 pulls in it. I'm 5/4 on the hero/wep pulls, about to have another once I finish Ch 5

Well without Tinia is just a really nice bow. I also don't really have any good bow users right now lmao.

I'm finally starting to make some progress in chapter 5 but man it's hard. So many things just kill you in one hit I end up having to resort to running in circles until the weapon skill is charged.
