Just walking by you see a murder of a innocent business owner in like downtown, you call the police, give your statement and are able to identify the shooter, but then find out the murderer is some high level gangster in like the mafia or russian mob or whatever, do you testify against them in court?

Its doubtful that i'd be able to identify the killer unless they were in a position to see me, and I'm gtfo the moment I realize what's going on, not trying to identify them. At most I'd call and tell the cops I heard a gunshot coming from [scene of the murder].

Also, when you spread it out it helps take the edge off my thrill-kill adrenaline rush addiction in a somewhat socially acceptable way. If I just killed them all at once, I'd be getting the itch again in a month and I'd just have to reopen my damned Most Dangerous Game island again.

Murdering 50 people at once might be 50 counts of murder, but it's still one murder so you'd only get the one quip.

Then you'd have to have the quips read before the bomb goes off, which kinda ruins the order of things because it's usually kill, then quip. That or the quips go unread.
