I'm happy for Moonstruck Blossom, which is, in my mind, the pinnacle of Kirby music. Every time I listen to it I hear something new. Moonstruck/Thermo may very well be my personal favorite match of the contest if we're talking the sum total of how much I like the music.

There's nothing in there that I'm super invested in. I think the last one to fall was Thermosphere, which I'd rank in a tier above this entire list. I suppose Geofront is the best "good piece of music" left that I like listening to when it's up, but I'm still only thinking of it in the context of this contest, not outside.

this is like BY FAR my favorite set of retirees holy shit; I literally like every song in the list. i thought last year's set was good but usually only like 1-4 super interest me, including then. in this set all 16 are the same level i'd put "the few that i'm excited about" in any other given year. wow. i'm blown away even though i was watching this all unfold as it happened
