Have you ever thought "gee I wish there was an easy, semi-convenient way to view and rank all 439 Character Battle entrants according to contest strength, personal preference or how much I want to bone them. I also want to include female Shepard so make that 440."

Well, look no further, because after roughly three weeks of creating 440 goddam uniform character images on generic gradients in my spare time, we finally have the solution to your incredibly niche problem that will be used to its fullest extent by maybe three people total.

Preset tiers for contest strength are based on @half_silver28 's "How would they do in a contest" topic series (except I added Chester for the lowest tier). Here's an image of the prime examples for each tier, based on the community consensus from those topics:



(Note that you can only have 10 levels by default so if you want 'Chester' Tier or anything comparable you'll have to add it yourself)

once nidoran has evolved into a nidoqueen i was reevaluate this list

I was somewhere in the J's on this when I got to the point where I could no longer drag people up to where they needed to go. I also had about 40% in "literally who?" because I didn't recognize them by their picture...which isn't to say it's a bad picture. I just had to know precisely who it was, and I only gleaned a few based on recognizing alphabetical order. Guess I should have looked up all the entrants on the wiki.

i was always under the assumption nana and popo and fully grown they are just the most deformed off the super deformed

someone on discord reminded me Clementine is black and I guess Alyx is too so that's covered. who knows what Jade is supposed to be

even if you count jade that means only 0.007% of all entrants ever have been black ladies

I think the first is Tanner and of course TV Time Kane is the last. no clue for the others. Not being able to recognize the pics is the issue with every tiermaker - but I'll try to do this one eventually.

This reminds me I need to figure out which contest vets still haven't been rated in my topic.

Yeah, and it resulted in a jam packed field of 32 heavy hitters on the male side with snubs galore, while the female bracket was filled with side characters no one has a strong opinion of (Peach, Marle, Kairi) and some cult fodder we rallied in for the hell of it (Carmen Sandiego, Alyx, Lenneth, Jade).

(Also, how the hell did Tingle end up among the elite 32 on the male side?)

It was weird byproduct of the board's movement to get the Charles Barkley vs. Michael Jordan rivalry from NBA Shut Up and Jam Gaiden into the rivalry contest. Allen nixed that, but suggest that real life historical figures could be eligible. Somehow this got to warped to Wolfenstein 3D's rivalry of BJ Blazkowitz vs. Adolf Hitler making the contest because it was the best example anyone could come up with, and 2011 was a bit of a different time politically.
