I saw a few things as a kid, mostly whatever was on Fox Kids, Kids WB, Toonami, etc. I don't want anything that's like a thousand episodes. I'd actually prefer something maybe around 50 episodes beginning to end, if that's a thing. I don't want anything overly sexual. No pirates. No baseball. No car racing. I don't care about "subs" or "dubs." Which is to say, I have no preference. I definitely need it in English. It's around that length, has a complete beginning middle and end, and is mostly focused on the story and not the things that you listed. I would also recommend Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Megalo box. All three are shorter than your preferred length, but also have a clear beginning middle and end and are extremely well-received very stylized series with legendary soundtracks. If you're looking for something that's a little more anime, as most of my recommendations above are relatively grounded, consider tengen toppa Gurren Lagann, which is an over-the-top giant robot show with a little bit of fan service but mostly focused on one-upping itself until it hits levels you would never have guessed were possible. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
