In comparison to the dinky stringfish model that's totally lame.

Having a ton of flowers down everywhere is proving to be problematic. So many tarantulas blending into the flowers that I never see coming. :(

In other bug related news, I just picked a flea off Kevin, talked to him a couple times, and he asked to buy the flea back from me. Well okay then.

I have orchid mantis, regular mantis, and sturgeon. The sturgeon is really disappointing, I was hoping the bigger fish would have larger models

The Atlas Moth model is amazing. I'll be blown away if there's another model as cool as it in the whole game.

I wasn't saving my bugs and fish before but now I'm making sure to have at least three of each one. I've got one oarfish tucked away and am hoping at least that turns out to be a cool fish model. Because yeah, those have sucked so far.

Woo, since I have Flick today I decided to go on an island tour to try to stock up on some atlas moths or water bugs, but I lucked out and got bamboo island! The tarantulas spawned on it so much quicker than the last time I tried to DIY it.

I saw the oarfish model on GMUN's island, and ehh.

What's everyone's favorite song they've gotten so far? Only Me, which I think may have been my very first one, and K.K. Jongara which I just got today are probably mine. So good. Also, the shuffle feature is a really nice touch.

I actually haven't got or requested my favorite songs yet.

There are 3 K.K. songs that are request only that can never show up in Nook Shopping, so I've been sticking to those as show requests to start. This will be my third week with K.K., so after this week, I'll be able to get into songs I actually want.

I think some songs sound better with him, but others are better as the air check. Really all depends on the song. It's a nice mix.

But 30 Gulliver visits means 30 Gulliver items, which also means 30 Rusted Parts, which means we'll all finally be able to build our Robot Hero!

So it all works out!

I've never understood the people who say to ignore Gulliver to get 5 Rusted Parts so they can build Robot Hero faster. There are clear reasons to let it play out naturally.

shared towns have been a staple of the series since the beginning.... but yeah it's harder to bear as the series has granted more powers to the primary resident that other players are missing out.
