I don't really shop with a list and normally shop for what I am gonna make that day or next couple of days. So when I think about it I normally get two 18 packs of TP and those huge things of paper towels. Luckily I bought them before the TP craze.

So what is your stash looking like?

I just finished my first roll since this all started. I have 7 rolls of scotts left (what I usually always use), and then I bought a full pack (think there is 12 in it) of some other brand as they only had 2 left about 3 weeks ago.

The scotts should last the rest of the year, and the other toilet paper is just in case I get sick and need to blow my nose or something.

Man, I know this is gross. but I learned it from an ex. I went out and bought some HUGE tee shirts. I think they are 6XL and I use those as snot rags when I am sick. They are big enough where the 4 of them make a load of so I don't have to wash them with other stuff. And blowing your nose on nice and soft shirt is a LOT easier on the nose than TP or tissue.

I mean, eww...but....not a bad idea...i'd just use old tshirts with holes in em that I need to throw away sometime anyway. I hope I remember that next time I get sick lol.

Sam's Club has commercial toilet paper in stock. The sandpapery thin stuff that comes on gigantic rolls. But if you're out, it's better than nothing.

Ewwww no!!

I get scotts for a rrason it's 1000 sheets per roll. The rolls are solid, almost as hard as wood. I use 3 sheets a pop, and don't get anything on my hands at all, or I would use more.

I realize some people are more messy when pooping, but 3 wipes usually does it for me with a final 4th wipe sometimes if I'm not totally clean (I look at the 3rd wipe...more info then you wanted right?).

So average of 10 sheets used per time I hit the bathroom (for number 2).

I only have to go once a day (unless I eat something bad etc, which rarely happens).

That is 10 sheets per day on average, or 300 sheets per month. One roll could in theory last me 3 months but I think I use about one every 2 months tbh. So I must use a bit extra here and there (I mean, it's not like i'm counting, I wipe till I'm clean).

Even at a roll every 2 months, 7 rolls would last me more than a year, let alone just 6 months. In fact, I could use a roll of 1000 sheets every freaking month and still have enough for the rest of the year.

That means I could use the restroom 3 times a day AND wipe 4 times every ttme, and still not run out.

Scotts is the best. I go through other toilet paper way faster because it sucks. They are "more comfortable" or "Softer" etc, but in reality you just go through it way faster.

I'll use the other stuff to blow my nose or something, but that is about it.

not sure whats being scraped though- there are issues if your excretions are like ice that needs to be scraped off a windshield
