I watch Bill Maher and other leftist media too btw but honestly this specific video is pretty much apolitical, it's mostly facts and the experts talking, i thought people would appreciate those.

The purpose of this video is to share some information amidst a crisis where people are stressed out due to lack of information, unless i'm mistaken that's a good thing and frankly that video is as milquetoast as it gets XD

The first doctor isn't bad, I've seen him post other videos before and in general everything he said is fairly solid. He also was on the Red table or whatever that show is with the Smiths, and a few other videos.

I thought it was funny that his son works for the bronco's (or some sports team) and he was like, no way, I can't imagine a world without large sporting events lol.

He was fairly optimistic, but didn't think we would stop self isolating for more than a month, which I seriously don't like lol. Worse he kinda hinted that those at high risk might need to do so much longer (Which would include me!!).

The second doctor was a serious pain to listen to, jesus, I hope he not a teacher, I really really hope, beccuse I would feel so bad for his students. Anyway, same basic deal as the first but he projected some things much faster (instead or 12-18 months he think a vaccne could be ready before the end of the year, which is like 7-8 months.

He was also kinda on a slowly releasing people trip, and keeping the old and high risk indoors....I am not ok with that people. I will not live the rest of my life in a basement. I admit I skipped alot of his responses because....otherwise I may have broken my tv.

The last guy focused more on the economy and when we will get things going back together. I skipped alot of him as well as he was hard for me to hear/understand. I didn't really get much out of him tbh. I do think the way Sweeden is doing things sounds like my plan from before, and I still wish we would do something like that.

Anyway, it wasn't all trash, but alot of it was hard to get through. I've seen more informative videos as well. Even the first doctor is mainly giving opinions, not any kind of case studies or tests etc.

One thing that was nice that I picked up but had not heard before, is that they can do a blood test to see if you have gotten the virus in the past and are mostly immune to it. Both doctors thought this might be a part of releasing people in fact. I was not sure if that was possible or not, but it does allow you to quickly get most of the work force back if you get those tests going quickly. We should actually re-institute door to door doctors (Well nurses but whatever), that do the tests and can clear people who have the virus. Do that in combo with release young/healthy people and we could end this quickly.

But I have been shot down repeatedly for mentioning that idea, so it's obviously not gonna happen. Maybe people will be more receptive once they have been stuck indoors for over a month like me.

I believe a certain version of what you say will end up happening, a gradual release of people while pumping up tests everywhere possible, but not now, like you said it would take some more time.

btw when they talk about keeping the people at risk indoors they mean until a relative cure to the virus has been found, so basically until they finish the vaccine (whenever that would be).

Yeah, I know that is what they mean, but i'm one of those people.

The general consensus is that it will be 12-18 months before a cure/vacinne has been discovered. The second doctor in the video said it might be possible by the end of the year (7 months or so) but he is the only person I have heard state that.

I plain out can't stay in my house alone for 7 more months, I'd rather risk dying. I already have a DNR but I'd sign any paper stating I would accept no medical attention and put all the rink on myself in order to go out when everyone else did.

I'm pretty good solo, but it's been a bit over a month and i've dealth with depression my whole life, I can maybe handle another month of this, but 7 or maybe 12-18? Yeah no, ain't gonna happen. So either come up with a solution or let people who are willing to risk it out, and if they die, it's their problem (the choice is up to them).

Yeah, it's not as bad as prison, I have a comfy bed, TV and computer...way better, but it's still basically non-stop solitary confinement for me, with minimal food choices and endless hours of trying to entertain myself.

This has only been 6 weeks or so.......and it seems like months already. Give me another 4 weeks and yeah, I'm gonna start barking at the walls.
