But there are different events and interpretations of Yahweh in Judaism, most of them translated directly from texts as old as dirt rather than the multiple translation butcherings that modern Christian bibles are descended from, as well as events and beliefs that the Jewish faith believes in that Christianity doesn't. So Yahweh probably isn't synonymous with the Christian God like this topic is getting at. Then you have Allah, who's the Muslim interpretation of the Abrahamic God. I doubt anyone on this board would conflate Allah and the beliefs of Islamic people with the Christian God, or vice versa. Old God in the Christian faith isn't necessarily Yahweh, Middle or Post-Jesus God isn't necessarily Allah.
