I remember I was one of the perfects going in, and I think I picked Link/Ganon in the 60-65% range, but it fell in the 55-60% range.

I was one of those perfect brackets, though if I remember right I blew it all on the final match range and ended up with zero?

Second time in less than 3 days that I was 0.01% off from having a perfect prediction. This time, I was off by 0.01% on Persona 5.

Having a perfect prediction is still a pursuable dream to me.

My goal in each of the recent Oracles is being able to have a #1 prediction, which I still haven't quite gotten in some years!

That one still haunts me because I had a 74.99% on that match and later got a perfect in the same contest, so I came within 0.01% of having 2 perfects in one contest (which no one has done). Even worse, I didn't make the top 5 for that match because the entire top 5 was filled with perfect predictions, so I had to settle for 8th place despite a 49.99 score.

I imagine a lot of people had Dark Souls at lockdown but switched to Skyrim on matchday after the number it put up on HGSS. I was one of them.

CBIX was such a mind-scramble for me that it was the only contest whose Oracle I just couldn't bother participating in.

You might want to get a Oracle Challenge prediction topic set up for the potential bonus matches we could get after the final. We do have the contest winner vs. Majora's Mask confirmed at this point (via a feedback ticket response), but you may also want to plan ahead and include Skyrim vs. Smash Ultimate as an alternative match to accept predictions for. Other bonus match ideas beyond these two seem rather unlikely.

Normally bonus matches don't count towards the actual Oracle Challenge, except for the one time it did back in 2011. I imagine if there's enough heads up notice from Allen of an actual concrete bonus match confirmation, it could be counted towards the Oracle Challenge. Even if they don't get counted towards the Oracle Challenge, just being able to get a board consensus for these matches is interesting to see.

I probably should have gone with the prediction that would have gotten me 2nd instead of getting greedy and going for the win on the final day but inmy mind this was the closest I thought I would get.

Weird fact: The three states where Witcher 3 is winning are pretty much the three states where the Covid outbreak is the smallest.

I actually just worked out what would have happened if I had stuck with my Skyrim 52.75 and Zelda 57.25 instead of rolling the dice. I'd have finished 0.12 points ahead of what Lefty scored.

Which of course wouldn't have happened as I'm sure Lefty would have been more conservative entering the final match if I had been within striking range.

Tell me about it. I could've had a perfect prediction for Skyrim in Round 1, but I changed my pick when the lines on that stupid "spread betting" thing came out and told me that my prediction would've had Subnautica covering.

I definitely spent a long time staring at the BOP and comparing it to my submission. It definitely helped a lot in the end.
