Hey, my name was on top for the first two matches! If you ignore the fact that there's four matches at once so I was never actually in first place for any of the updates, I think that doubles the amount of days I've been in first place in Oracle history.

Forgetting to change safeties on three out of the four days so far definitely hasn't helped me since, though. The early start time keeps throwing me.

Oh wow, a 1st place right off the bat! Shared with seven other people, but still. And a second top 5 on Day 1, albeit with a pretty weak score because we all went under on Hollow Knight.

Of course I was roundly atrocious on Day 2, even with my awesome Bastion pick, and Day 3 wasn't great either.

Oh 3 Top 5s and currently in the Top 10 overall. That is significantly better than I thought I would be doing after a few stinkers.

Wow, after a terrible start the last couple of days are some the best I've ever done in an Oracle contest! Not sure I've ever made the overall top 10 before.

All I remember is people complaining about her always having perfect picks submitted 1 second earlier than the start of the match.

Too bad I discovered the Oracle that year far into Round 1...

The drama around Amy was twofold

1. It was believed to be someones alt account rather than a legit unique user. I am unsure if this was even proven either way
2. It wasn't that Amy was making perfect picks. Amy was mimicking the picks of the people directly behind her in the standings with tiny modifications making it impossible for them to actually catch her. She wasn't making her own picks at that point, simply mirroring what others were doing to defend a lead. Every pick was damage limitation to the extreme rather than trying to predict the match.

I do remember Amy's name being mentioned on the show

Wow, yesterday was a rollercoaster. I went from 1st to 12th because I apparently drastically underrated Horizon

Way overshot the Zelda prediction because I'm never played a Zelda game and just assumed it would do well because Zelda. Now that I look it up, it was just a 3DS game that didn't sell anything like a console game? Time to go check how far I took it in my bracket...

Edit: Oh it has Smash next round. That saved me a bracket busting run for sure.

I already regret taking DMC5 and the fact that the match start is delayed is just making matters worse

I went with DK solely because I had DMC in my bracket and I've been wrong on both of the previous close matches.

DMC looking decent at the freeze. My Undertale prediction and all my other picks, not so much

So I picked against my bracket and picked DKC here. What a mistake.

In other news, these unpredictable hyper blowout happening/not happening matches are really screwing me over.

The website is being glitchy.

It picked up Match 1-12. It didn't pick-up Match 13, 14, 15, 16 results (seems it got the predictions). It then picks up Match 17, 18, 19 and acts like that is a new contest before not picking up Match 20.

I have a feeling that when it updates again, Lefty is going to be in the lead and probably with a decent cushion. I think he has a good 18 point or so cushion on me and I don't think I will have dropped off super tons.

Scores are back up, small changes to the poll pages on gamefaqs some glitches with the automation on our end...
