I am pretty confident Sultan is town. Unless he has learned to fake such sentiments since I last checked (which IS possible) he usually as town has this weird moment where he votes for me in a way that makes no real sense at all at least to me but he genuinely thinks he's got something so his vote on me all said was rather comforting.

This is a very strange post to make as scum. Scum are usually very hyper aware of things, so for HB to be scum, know the vote is only red up 1, and to not vote red to save himself like he had MI previously is... really an absurd combo for me to believe. He seems genuinely relived not to die and I think I can only see town motives for posting this.

So let's see, I am going to stick with I don't think puns/Lea are scum scum ever so we'll say at least 1 is town for now and remove them both from my thought train here. Mostly because if Lea needed town approval for an extra kill I am for sure not the choice made.

So I doubt ICGD, Han, and Death are all on the same team and voting Lea all day. That's the only one I am super comfortable making based on current votals as it is very believable that a scum blade would be nice and early to toss scare into a wood chopper and Sbell could in theory follow suit.

So assuming my reads are right at the moment that's town/town at the top.

Splinters are IGCD, Sbell, dead red, HB, and Corrik not voting.

Yeah see a lot of behavior similar with red and HB. Both could have voted to sway the lynch in their favor but neither did so. It's the type of poor play that would just be strange coming from scum, whereas town sometimes gets caught up in the moment.

I think we're focusing too much on the Quad vote. It blinds us. We get caught up in Red's actual lynch but aren't seeing where the day was truly going before MI decided to kill the cop.

With 8 minutes to go chaos comes to our realm in the form of a triple vote by MI. Corrik unvotes. Blade unvotes and revotes IGCD (not sure if that's accurate but it seems to be unless I missed a Blade vote)

I just don't think there's any way to avoid murdering Han after re-reading that. His defense of IGCD feels off. I don't quite know if it is defending a buddy or TMI a member of town just based on his own play, but something is very wrong with Han.

Corrik in general is making reasoned arguments at end of day. But if HB is town it's just from one town to another really.

I have a hard time believing scum Lea would recruit town Chris if she needs unanimous consent for the kill. She also runs the risk of him figuring out her alignment in the private chat. So I think Lea and Chris are probably town.

Puns could go either way. He hasn't impressed me much so far.

I could go for a Ben lynch as well. He's been around today but he's mostly been tunneling IGCD and throwing out little feelers but not following up on them. The present thing was weird. He also asked Han about IGCD and didn't really go anywhere with it. Some pokes at Scare but not committing to it with a vote. Seems like fake activity mostly.

Speaking of IGCD he's probably town or perfected his town tantrum act as scum. I've never seen him pull it off though so I think he's town.

Okay, so a Scum (unblockable, except theoretically by unlikely Mayor?) kill that has to recruit two Town to agree with it, but still can go off if those two Town die.

One of two things happened.

1. I am scum and am teamed with players who let me dictate the scum kill to let me shoot off and let stronger players eat themselves.

2. A bunch of stronger players are scum together and they shot 5tar. Blade particularly would always argue against shooting me.

1. Isn't the case.

And, Chris's nightkill was most likely not redirected. If they shot Chris, they probably used a strongman which is not redirect able to circumvent a save. If it was redirected by targeting of scum, the person would have mentioned who they targeted to kill the shooter. If it was a bus driver, again assuming a save on chris then the save would have saved 5tar also.

Now, Chris doesn't have to be scum. Scum might have known they couldn't kill Chris night 1 if they don't have a strongman and shot off. But, there is also a lot of end day issues to suspect Chris. Blade is most likely scum because he has done absolutely zero of his general theorycrafting and figuring out the game. He is just skulking in the shadows so to speak.

Considering that scum can kill both in 2 nights that seems like a role that is rather unfairly good for scum.

There are still plenty of reasons for Chris to be alive I admit. And he is not the first one I would go after for yesterday. It may be his illness, but he just doesnt sound like the Chris from last game.

I don't really see the logic there. Given that throughout the day I gave nuanced reasons why I thought red was town. I could have just used my pre established illness to skip end of day. Or vote hb and not really care which town member dies because red is then perma blocked.

You really have to stretch for me to look bad from how I handled red. But it seems like we want to stretch so hey what can I do

Or I was trying to get people to vote for the person I actually thought was scum and switching blindly to someone I thought looked ok is just silly. With 5 minutes to go I was not going to cede the lynch like that. Unfortunately people don't like to listen.

This is one of those arguments that pretends to make sense. Like "oh yeah this is bad" but what is a good look? Switching to the person I thought seemed ok or to continue to push my scum suspect? I pushed. I have no qualms with how I played that day.

I'm suspicious of Leas role. Pulling Chris into a chat and Chris not being dead.

I did not and still don't like scares end of day one (mind you my activity doesn't speak wonders for me).

Ben has been itching me in a weird way as well.

It just seems odd to let the guy who you were pretty sure was Town and also claimed Cop die as opposed to a guy whose day 1 contributions were ignoring that pressure voting is a thing and making things up. At the very least, forcing a tiebreaker situation lets you draw more reads from other people in how they handle it, especially with a claimed Cop in that pool.
