Today's tea: 1 pint of Yunnan black tea. Brewed strong. So rich. Drank on an empty stomach. Stomach hurts a little, why do I keep doing this to myself.

I usually just to milk and early grey with a bit of vanilla. A London fog.

Previous day's tea: 1 pint of keemun black tea, 1 pint of yixing black tea.

Today's tea: 1 pint of Yunnan black tea.

I feel the urge of buying more tea again, but my last haul was such a dissapointment. Maybe I should just stick to Chinese black teas, because I've never been disappointed aside from the smoked tea. I liked the assam I have, but the Darjeeling wasn't as good as Darjeeling I've had before.

well, cold brewing in the fridge and making sun tea isn't the same thing. Also, tea has negligible nutritional value, so even if any bacteria grows, there can't be much of it at all.

Previous/today's tea:

1 pint of Chinese black tea blend, 2 pints of roasted barley tea. Barley tea is nice. I didn't think I'd like it because I don't really like the toasty flavors that oolong can have, but I was wrong. Now I really want to try genmaicha, which is a kind of Japanese green tea with roasted rice.

Here's my recent tea order

Today's tea: 1 pint of dahongpao oolong, 1 pint of darjeeling. Don't know what I did different, but the darjeeling tasted particularly good, far better than what I've brewed before. Maybe my water is different because I moved?

I find adagio too overpriced for my consideration. And, they price their $ per cup at 1 g per cup.

Today's tea: 1 pint of yunnan black tea. The past 3 days have been some really good brew. I think It's because I'm hitting the sweet spot of the 4-5 minute steeping time, so its richer without any noticable bitterness.

Brewed it a little bitter. whoops.

Finally found some gyokuro online to buy at reasonable prices, and then I also wanted to buy genmaicha, and then I wanted to buy more fancier sencha. And then I said fuck that, I've got enough tea to drink. I'll reconsider when I actually run out of my favorites.

Today's tea: 1 pint experimental tea blend. 1.5 g yixing, 1 g keemun, 1.5 g yunnan. And, I can only taste Yixing's nuance. Indiscernible from the full brewed yixing, if not just more mellow. Still a very good pint of tea. I probably have less than 1 oz. left of the yixing.

Still today's tea: 1 pint of genmaicha.

The grocery store I just went to was pretty big. Same chain I've been to, but it had more things than I've typically have seen because the area it's in is more populated and/or affluent. The tea area had twice as much tea than I've ever seen in a grocery store. I was surprised it stocked loose leaf even though it was just english breakfast (Which is far more preferable than generic black tea). I wanted to try something new, so I picked up genmaicha.

It was ok. I couldn't notice any green tea, just the toasted rice, which was a little disappointing, but not bad.

Taking the bait. No, the word tea made from the tea plant is called tea. Due to semantic shift, herbal infusions of plants, herbs, and spices (properly called tisanes) are now also called tea.

Today's tea: 1 pint of experimental tea blend. 1 g yixing, ~1.5 g yunnan, ~1.5 g keemun. Yixing nuance is now subdued, but still most prominent. Can now notice the honeylike flavors of the yunnan. I guess keemun is really delicate because I still can't notice its presence besides being there to keep the body full strength.

But then again, that could be argued that coffee is a tea under that definition.

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed but I do drink a huge cup of tea every single morning and most evenings too. It's just mainly Tetley though nothing fancy. The whole tea drinking culture here is just a relic of the British Empire.

34 pints total. I think I miscounted by a few somewhere, too lazy to recheck. And the custom blends messed up the count kinda too.

Still got months and months of tea in store, but my favorites are running low.
