Oh, and if you want to talk about legendary news dumps:

Remember the ACA lawsuit where Trump and the GOP are arguing to throw out the whole law and the lower court judge ruled that way already? 5th Circuit was out with their ruling a few hours ago finding the mandate unconstitutional and remanding the case back to the lower court to evaluate the impact on the ACA.

But they remand it back to the judge who already ruled that the entire ACA should be thrown out so ~i wonder what he'll think~.

Definitely strikes as a stall tactic to keep the case from reaching SCOTUS before the election to avoid the disaster that would be throwing out the ACA, pre-existing conditions, etc. in the run-up to the 2020 election. But that's 100% the goal they just want to push back the time SCOTUS get it to avoid the backfire.

California is planning to file with SCOTUS challenging the 5th Circuit's ruling directly so that might be a way around the delay tactic but we'll see I guess.

I agree that it was a strategic error, but "bribery" and "extortion" don't really get across the full magnitude of what Trump did. The key part is that he leveraged the powers of the Presidency to do it, putting his own interests above those of the nation.

And impeaching Trump is what got Democrats a House majority in 2018. They should've impeached him right then and there, but Nancy was too scared to piss off the voters. This meant that Donald's crimes in the Mueller Report got brushed under the rug, and he thought he was untouchable, leading to more crimes that forced an impeachment.

By doing nothing about the Mueller Report, they literally handed the Republicans "proof that it was a nothingburger", even though it explicitly says otherwise. She should never be reelected again, frankly, and anyone who supports her gets a big ole side eye from me.

The "present" votes are just so, so Tulsi, and it's why I've had zero respect for her this entire time.

She has no conviction whatsoever. She'll change her stance by the hour to cater to what she thinks will get her the most votes. She didn't want to vote Yes so she can rally people from the far right with "I didn't support impeachment!"
