The Democrats don't seem to have anyone worth voting for and 3rd parties never stand a chance.

If he won once, he's likely to win again, sadly.

I don't think so. Most of his votes "anyone but Hillary", none of the candidates are as shit as her. None are great, but none that shit. Also he lost the popular vote and only won the EC because of 77 thousand votes in PA, MI, and WI.

If anything, Trump has lost support. Add to that a fired up opposition who want him the fuck out and independents who are sick of the clown show.

I don't see him winning this time.

He 100% has. Even disregarding the consistantly low approval numbers the internet furor has largely died out compared to its former heights and hes basically entirely broken the promises he made to the midwest that got him elected in the first place.

Whoever runs and whoever wins, I think this campaign, I think its going to dash the perception of Trump a lot of people have against the rocks. He ran against a uniquely unpopular person, and his camp was -insanely- good at weaponizing that in the media and working around how genuinely stupid and childish he is. A lot of those people were given jobs and promptly fired soon after he was elected.

I'm not saying it's a sure shot. Incumbents have a natural advantage and honestly there is always a chance that the Democrats fuck themselves as they are wont to do. But hes not anywhere near as strong as he was during 2016 approval wise and unless he knocks it out of the park with his campaign hiring again i doubt trying to keep his broken brain out of the limelight will work as well this time around.

Almost everyone I know who voted for him (Midwestern military town so that's almost everyone) have said they're not voting for him again and that he's essentially destroyed the Republican Party.

He won by less than 80,000 votes last time spread across three states.

If he wins after all the dumb shit he's done and said, we deserve him.

Only way I see him winning again is if Hillary jumps into the race and secures the nomination again

The safest bet to beat Trump is a moderate Democrat as the Presidential nominee. One that the right wont easily be able to demonize as a spooky socialist and scare away independents. The leftist Democrats will fall in line.

But Democrats are being cocky like they were in 2016. F*** it, lets go all in with a Bernie/Warren ticket.

Hillary Clinton is literally the definition of a "moderate Democrat", the fuck you talking about? The GOP will paint any of them, and already has, as a "CRAZY LEFTIST SOCIALIST!", that insult doesn't work nearly as well when you call literally everyone that.

Anyway right now Trump is basically where he was when he won the election, disliked by the areas with higher populations but due to the laws of the EC he's the slight favorite. He has to hope for depressed Democratic turnout and win the coin flip states again which he did enough by fairly slim margins last time. I do think he's expanded his support in the steady Republican states or even the lean ones, such as Ohio or even Florida, but states like Nevada and Arizona have moved more and more steadily blue since he's taken office.

I'd put Trump at like 55/45 right now

@Ethosian "anyone but Hillary" will become "anyone but Biden/Buttgieg/Bloomberg/" , and an important part of those would also be "only Bernie/Warren" voters.

Truth is, as maligned as she has been, Hillary wasn't some sort of devil. I mean, she was an unexciting candidate, but "buttery males" , "ben gasy" and "but Bill" were the only things they had against her, despite her long time in politics. If they (GOP and their media friends) could turn her into a literal devil in the eyes of the public opinion they can EASILY do it to most of the democratic candidates. We're seeing a taste of that with Biden, and they're already going after Pete too.

Nobody stance a chance, correct. And that is because of the gross double standard that the media and the voters have.

I'd say he has more.

He has the full power of the state now, he has incumbency and a shitload of fundraising. Russia is now even MORE free to intervene too.

Plus, and I know I will get flack for this, Hillary was an actually solid candidate. Unexciting and too moderate, yes, but ultimately solid. Most of the current candidates are not as solid.
