Also he lost the popular vote and only won the EC because of 77 thousand votes in PA, MI, and WI. If anything, Trump has lost support. Even disregarding the consistantly low approval numbers the internet furor has largely died out compared to its former heights and hes basically entirely broken the promises he made to the midwest that got him elected in the first place. Whoever runs and whoever wins, I think this campaign, I think its going to dash the perception of Trump a lot of people have against the rocks. He ran against a uniquely unpopular person, and his camp was -insanely- good at weaponizing that in the media and working around how genuinely stupid and childish he is. A lot of those people were given jobs and promptly fired soon after he was elected. I'm not saying it's a sure shot. Incumbents have a natural advantage and honestly there is always a chance that the Democrats fuck themselves as they are wont to do.
