I also have Code Vein coming in the mail, so I'm not sure if I'll get around to finishing Guacamelee 2 and Arkham Asylum after all (I'm two hours into the former, one into the latter.) This is the third time I've tried playing Arkham Asylum, and the third time I've quickly found an excuse to play something else. Been having a good time replaying this and have also gotten kind of addicted to getting all the Riddler trophies. Just got the gravity suit in Super Metroid the other day too. gameking1230438 12/15/19 12:02:51 PM #61:	Gameking has beaten Batman: Arkham Asylum. Had a good time going back to this. I really like how compact this game is compared to Arkham City. The metroidvania progression is great, and the Riddler trophies are so much less frustrating than in the sequel. However, I prefer the combat in Arkham City so much more and I had a tougher time pulling off large combos with the more limited abilities in this game. The bosses also are pretty bad and mostly amount to waiting around until you can attack, fighting off waves of enemies, and repeating that several times. These got really frustrating playing through on hard mode. It does almost everything that I love about Metroidvania titles, which is amazing since it came so far before the rest. Only two minor complaints so far. First, it really could use a fast travel system. Second, the jumping seems...off to me? A bit gummy I guess, and it just isnt fluid. I happen to be playing Shantae Half Genie Hero at the same time, and this is really demonstrating the difference between a great Metroidvania and an ok Metroidvania. --- Moops? Cody11533 12/25/19 5:12:53 PM #81:	I started Super Metroid this past weekend, made it to the part where it opens back up to her ship. Not a huge Metroidvania fan, but this game is fantastic. I'm surprised at how much fun it is to just play, I can see why this game is a classic in speedrunning. Comparing this to the original Metroid puts the NES game to shame.
