Easily one of the worst movies of all time. It had one job - be part 2 of 3 - and it fails catastrophically! Revenge of the Fallen left itself more open for a sequel, better characters and adapted Luke better.

The last jedi makes sure the sequel trilogy goes down as the worst trilogy of all time.

it was hard to watch. i remember trying to like the movie because of Reys journey. ended up being a movie i need to watch episode 9 to take the new trilogy as a whole series.

I enjoyed it but I also understand that Star Wars is a story for children and families that has very straightforward plot devices. I also dont hate women and people of color so the characters didnt bother me.

It had some filler that made it longer than it should have been - which I can look past - but the biggest problem was it tied up too many things that should have waited until Episode IX.

i don't even care about SW that much and it was a horrendous movie with crap character justification(writing) and even worse pacing.

even if it crapped on SW lore(which i don't really care about), there's absolutely no way whatsoever the writers can explain away holdo's idiotic motives as well as the casino planet.

it's like they said "you know what, we desperately need some action on the ship and something for these characters to do so here's what we'll do... oh and the same goes for these other characters so let's send them to this new place we haven't shown before".

That throne room fight was so hype, but just like every great scene in the sequel trilogy they cut it short and instead pad the film with long-winded, insulting as fuck exposition. Like, I've watched a few movies in my day, I understand how to read context and I don't need you shoving your ham-fisted explanations down my throat. I don't even hate the movie, I just truly cannot understand why it isn't 90 minutes long.

Terrible. Such a waste of an opportunity. Rian Johnson is one of those directors who thinks hes smarter than he is but many of his choices made no sense.

You cant wait until the 8th episode in a saga to try to change things up and be different when its not your universe to do that in. I can see if it was a spin off movie.

From force flying Leia Poppins to the hyperspace ram, to the random PETA lesson in the casino, a lot of it felt out of place. Especially since TFA set up so much.

It made StarWars feel like a basic Netflix movie instead of an actual Star Wars episode. Hell, AOTC at least even felt like an actual Star Wars movie, as meh as that was .

It was...okay. But that's it. It's not something I have the desire to go back and rewatch particularly often, unlike most of the other movies.

I enjoyed it when I left the cinema, but I grew to dislike it when I watched it a second time.

Having said that, it's better than The Force Awakens, Rogue One and Solo.

Re watched it yesterday and it wasn't terrible, but definitely not great. I think what I disliked the most was that it tried to incorporate too much goofy humor. Star Wars was never about punchlines, but The Last Jedi tried to make it that way.

Look dude, with the amount of direct to video/dvd/bluray movies (almsot always garbage) that have made in the last 30 years calling The Last Jedi one of the worst movies of all time is childishly hyperbolic. I get that you don't like it, by the hyperbole makes it impossible for people to take legitimate criticism of the film seriously.

I liked parts of it. I enjoyed most things involving Luke, Rey, and Kylo. The B-plot with Finn, Poe, and Rose was a trainwreck.
