Also I'm enjoying CS3's OST more than the first two games' so far, particularly the battle music. I don't think it's nearly as good as the Crossbell or Sky OSTs though, or the Ys games for that matter.

Those Emperor -> Osborne -> Ash conversations were quite the whirlwind. Gonna wanna take a closer look at one or two of the Black Records. Also I so want it to be the case that Osborne knows about them because he had them and has been the one having them scattered in the most ridiculous, remote locations after he's done reading them for us to pick them up.

But really the fact that he's in on it suggests he somehow stole the Emperor's copy, the Emperor read him in (not impossible I guess), or he really did have the Black Records before us. good guy osborne giving us a riddle on his way out so we have something to think about... also heart transplants.

also major lol at the emperor ruining osborne's max swag moment by interjecting that he's not human and probably can't even die ruining a baller moment.

also rufus and cedric with the maximum dick move by rolling into the room with "Is this the work of a Calvardian Stand!?" "I can't deny the possibility!"

Aurelia still the best with that expression she had on while commenting on how this really took her back to Osborne's CS1 speech.

It is interesting to me that the Ironblood minus Rufus (and maybe Cedric can't tell if he's legit or just being used) are out of the loop on this. Lechter and Claire definitely seem blindsided by this and I don't think they'd be at all onboard this ****. Curious to see where that goes.

Oh yeah, I forgot to comment on that and totally meant to, that was great. For more fun callback stuff: (SC spoilers): In the Chapter 4 Dream Estelle has when you finally find Joshua's Harmonica and bring it to Cassius, he remarks that it's a Rieveldt brand one which marks it as from the Empire.

Roselia and Thomas with the huge info dump there on the backstory of Erebonia and the Sept-Terrions of Fire and Earth. Gaius finally tells everyone he's a Dominion and uh... you can transfer Stigmas? For whatever reason I assumed you were like... born with them. septian church screwing up by not giving one to rufina apparently. Also the Vita team-up is real.

But I have some issues with the battle in Sankt District. In no possible reality do I accept that Patrick can flash step in and knock down two magic knights. You're telling me Ogre Rean, Fie, and Sara can't make it in time but Patrick crosses what has to be at least three times the distance just like that? nope. Also the sheer disrespect being shown to Rosine here. "After Vita, [Patrick] is the next strongest combatant [guarding St. Astraia]"? excuse me wtf Rosine is a gralsritter squire did their hiring standards get dropped or something? hell she received the same thors instruction as patrick on top of it too. i am upset by this. On the other hand, I'm totally okay with Josette, Jingo, Cerberus, and Ashleigh just securing a district. That's amazing. lmao Ashleigh not impressed compared to Wald's **** in Downtown.

max lmao at Randy, Tio, and Fie trolling the hell out of Agate in the middle of a warzone. A little surprised they didn't just grab the Pantagruel too, as crazy as the lineup they have guarding the Gral is I don't think they've got any air support.

On a more serious level. dammit lechter and claire. Right after I said I didn't think you two would be onboard with this you're right there with Altina. Neither seems thrilled to be there but still! Millium and Sharon are concerning too and there's got to be more to it with them.

Also that George/Towa face-off was legit damn.

I am currently sitting at 442 AP (so 27 "spare" points) and I'm not expecting any more to come in at this point. I was at 422 where you were with all S Ranks so you must have missed 7 so far .

I skipped the bonus AP for beating Bardias in the sparring thing. I think that's the only one I missed so far. I could've redone the fight and won, but it felt like a really stupid fight that you had to use one specific strategy to win, so I didn't feel like it (plus it's just 1 AP). And they don't even let you save immediately before it, like with the last sparring duel!

I think the only AP I missed was in Chapter 3 (not beating Rutger with my own VM deck). But yeah, got pretty comfortably over the top rank requirement.

Which is the better (or worse, if you dislike them both) age gap Trails pairing? Jusis x Millium or Agate x Tita?

Eh, I feel like Jusis/Millium is strictly a brother/sister type connection, and I think the games treat it that way. It would never work as a romance.

The fact that everyone teases a man about a potential romance with an underage girl like it's no big deal is always awkward though. Trails seems to enjoy unconventional romances though.

I don't like either but Jusis/Millium feels rather forced. You can see CS3 planting the seeds to push it but I don't see them that way I'm pretty damn sure Jusis doesn't either. OTOH, Agate is like twice Tita's age and thankfully Agate is still shooting it down even if now everyone is on the ship. Like I find the trolling by the bracers about it to be hilarious but only insofar as it's just them trolling. If that ship actually started to become a thing I would nope out so damn fast.
