Played the first the 3 levels of story mode which makes up the first world. This shit is legit guys. I was pouring sweat and exhausted by the time I was through. I plan on playing about every other day between my regular work out days so we'll see how this goes!

So how goes everyone's fitness? Anyone hit the gym regularly? Anyone else picked up or played RFA?

I've lost about 20 pounds recently by changing up my diet and am planning on adding exercise (treadmill and weights) really soon.

I might look to pick this up as one method, because even if it is less impactful than other exercise, it's still better than nothing.

I started at 285 and today I have my new low weight of 263. I'm really excited by my progress and am hoping to be to my first goal of 250 soon.

I wound up picking this up the other day. Ive played a couple sessions and so far so good! I would say that as someone who already regularly works out this game surprised me with how good it was. It makes running in place fun, which is something I usually fucking hate. I dont know yet how good this game will be for strength training, but I will say that the ring con has some good resistance to it that I wasnt expecting. This game wont replace my runs, but if I keep at it I could see it taking the place of my home workouts.

There's a silent mode built for that situation. It switches out the running in place and other noisy exercises with something else.

On the one hand, I like gimmick games like this. On the other hand, I tend to give up once the going gets tough; I played Fitness Boxing until the game upped the exercise speed and I just couldn't stick with it.

I'm trying to exercise more while home, so maybe this game will help with that? Specifically I want more workout for my legs. Just found out today that I can do handstand push ups (against the wall) so I'll focus on those for my arms.

At a loss on what to do for legs, don't know a whole lot about fitness. My muscles are already decent but it's nice to imagine how I'd look if I actually stuck to a routine. Probs be more confident too.

As I mentioned in a recent topic I'm down a ton of weight thanks to keto and exercise. I started at 320 and am down to 248 (72 lbs) in 140 days so far.

My exercise has mostly consisted of Beatsaber in VR and regular walking for Pokemon Go and Wizards Unite. I'd be willing to check this game out to at some point but I dunno about right now.

That 1 pound every two days, not 2 pounds every one day.

And the only sorcery has been having the will to not cheat. Starting Thanksgiving though I'm going to switch to eating carbs again. I'm still going to track what I eat and give myself a calorie limit and I'll evaluate how things are going again in January.

Essentially on a given day you give yourself a time window where you're only allowed to eat in this period (say a period of 8 hours on a typical day), and outside of it you fast, and of course part of your fasting period is while you're asleep. Pretty much, you're only eating 2 meals a day.

I feel like I naturally intermittent fast or come close to it. I usually skip breakfast, eat lunch at 1130 and eat dinner 6-7. Some days its a little bit later but usually around there.

Seeing that explanation i'll try to do it more purposefully though

I removed pretty much every excuse I had for not playing this, and so today I started playing.

I didn't last much more than a minute. Silent mode has you doing quick squats in place of running, and those were killers on my knees. Nothing for it but to rest and get back at it tomorrow.
