Nope. I make it a point to stay away from the trending videos on YouTube. I only go to my subscribed list.

I used to watch Watch Mojo ones all the time, but then I started to see an increase of terrible opinions on almost every list, so Ive stopped clicking those

I used to like top lists of paranormal and unexplained phenomena. I think I've seen them all though at this point.

I watch them sometimes but I acknowledge that they are usually trash. Well, ones like WatchMojo, which seems to be the bulk of what ends up randomly getting rec'd to me.

Speaking of WatchMojo, it's dumb when they do "another" top 10 of a previous subject. That doesn't make any sense, it's a top ten, not just an arbitrary list of ten. Am I supposed to interpret these as actually being 20-11?

"Fall for", no. Because most of the clickbaity videos have blatant red flags (like the blatant arrows in thumbnails), and will never, ever pay off on the implications of their title, so I have no real interest in seeing what they have to say, and don't want to reward them for being manipulative assholes by driving up their views.

I do occasionally watch list videos from specific channels I already like and trust, though. Though that's mostly just WhatCulture and it's associated related channels.

I feel like Youtube letting people edit thumbnail's like that as a feature was a mistake.
Should have just kept it as having the thumbnail a random part of the vid, should have stayed like that IMO.

I had no idea Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 was impossible to beat until I watched his top 10. I own the game but I never progressed that far into it anyway.

With a thumbnail like that, I wouldn't click the video. Some top 10s have interesting enough premises, but there are some channels I try to avoid, sometimes just because I'll get more recommendations for content associated with that channel.
