If you order a pizza and have them bring it to you almost every pizza place will charge you $3-4 on top of what the food would have cost if you went to the place and picked it up. Even in hot weather though half a mile isnt bad. I think i can walk that 6-8 minutes. Thats a rough estimate though never timed a half mile walk. I know ive done 4 miles though in 45 minutes to a hour depending on how much energy i had that day. He could probably take it home, as well... True but I know some people want it as hot and fresh as possible. Im not one of those though. Hell i generally prefer the fries from a place to be atleast a few minutes old. I do like to food to usually be fresh and hot. But if I was only a half a mile away from home and had to walk, I probably would. Plus, with this heat, itll still be hot. Not to mention, getting it delivered wouldnt be super fresh. And he did say he didnt want to walk with a full belly of Taco Bell in the heat. Yeah disabled too didnt consider that. And yeah that was 10 years ago though so Idk if I still could do that. If your joints bother you that walk would be hell for you as it was super hilly.
