Phil got really butthurt last night when playing Super Turbo, some guy with the name: CatScam2kpaypiggy beat him and tried for a rematch, and Phil abruptly quit the game.

Phil, again, was fishing for tips badly so he could buy 3 new games. I would like to make mention that between the 2nd-16th of August, Phil made over 6k between the cat reveal, Twitch payout and tips and other donations. 3 games, even if they are AAA titles, would be 180 dollars total, which is 3% of that total income. Oh and these games usually earn themselves back, as it should. You invest money in your business to make money. But Phil, even though he got over 6k in the last 2 weeks, still wants more.

He actually said near the end of his stream, that he was in his last 10 minutes and that if anyone wanted to make any last minute donations, now is the time.

This asshole got over 6k, and is still begging for more. WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL GIVING HIM MONEY!?

Food for thought:

Why is Phil so adamant against using his glasses? He has admitted in the past that he needs them, because his sight is fucked, but other than using them on the stream he admitted he needed them, he never puts them on. Even though he admitted that they helped tremendously. Why would someone opt in on a handicap like that, especially if it could hurt you lively-hood.

Also, Phil was playing some Super Turbo, all seemed okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then he switched to 3rd Strike, got bodied by Hugo and got so extremely salty. It's funny. When Phil wins, he never
considers his opponent. But when he gets his ass handed to him all the excuses come out.

Also, I noticed something. I know we like to give Phil shit about how he uses words, but I believe now that he is aware of what he does and it's a way of "brainwashing" his cult. By repeating the same thing over and over again, people will believe it. But Phil was talking about Jasper and that he'd go to Kat's room. He then wanted to say that she interacts with him, but swallowed his words at inte... plays with him. He knows very well how to indoctrinate his followers.

Also, a bit of a nitpick I have, Phil complains a lot about "realism" in games. Which is odd, because the point of games is letting you do something you never could in real life. Fuck, he even complained about realism in games like Dark Souls, which makes zero fucking sense. But if a game is realistic, he will complain about that too.

But it should come to no surprise that Phil complains. Also last night, he got about 300 dollars in tips/donations but still complained that it was a "slow" stream as far as contributions go. He earned in one night what some people earn in a week.

He got over 6.000 dollars in the last 2 weeks between the Jasper reveal and his Twitch payment. He also admitted that for the first time in months he didn't overdraft his bank account (lol), but he is pushing HARD for tips because he gets that immediately.

He is pushing so hard he is getting so pissy about people cheering, he even is banning people for asking about cheers. He is pushing for tips, but people asking for if he doesn't want cheers are met with ridicule (being called idiots, surprise surprise) and even ended up getting banned.

It makes no sense. If he's actually caught up this month, why does he need immediate money? In a situation like this, one of his whales needs to ask for an explanation, someone like Planet Jeff, who Phil would never ban because it would mean losing thousands of dollars a year.

During last night's Blackgout stream, someone tipped/cheered and asked Phil if he ever was embarrassed over lying.

Now you might think something came out of this, and it did, but not quite what you'd expect. He said that lying for months on end about money, his cat, the wedding, and other things, that would be on top of his list to be embarrassed about.

You would be wrong.

You see, all these lies, weren't lies at all. They were all part of a meticulously crafted plan, and Phil himself shared the truth when the time was right. So no, they were not lies, by Phil's definition, and he never got called out/caught in a lie because he himself revealed the truth.

And when Phil does lie, he only tells "white lies" in order to protect himself, Kat and/or his parents. Because we all know the entire world is now out to get them.

"We didn't want to tell anyone about the cat because we weren't sure we would be able to keep it. There was a chance that things wouldn't have worked out, in which case the cat would have needed to be rehomed, so we decided it was better to keep quiet until we knew for sure that the cat was staying."

That wouldn't have explained everything, but it's better than the usual excuse of the detractors forcing him to lie. However, nothing can explain away the fact that he repeatedly mentioned that he wanted a cat but was too poor to get one, all of this while he owned a cat the entire time. That's not a white lie, that's blatant deception intended to make people give him more money out of pity.

For fucking everything Phil does could a simple explanation suffice.

Every single fucking time he goes on a tangent when he gets his ass handed to him for example. When driving in any game (need for speed, GTA, etc) and he crashes into something, a vomit of excuses follow. All he has to do, is act like anyone else:

"I fucked up."

And then move on. No one would give a fuck, they would move on with you. Being able to see and admit fault in yourself is how you grow as a person. The fact that people give Phil shit constantly, and why he is so interesting to follow is that NOTHING is ever his fault, and verbal diarrhea that follows is why people take such issue with him. He lies about EVERYTHING, it's like breathing to him. If he stopped doing it, people would stop giving him a hard time.

I know that that is why I follow him. The mental gymnastics he performs, the impossible corners he backs himself up in, just to try and justify a simple error like pushing the wrong button is endlessly interesting. And ever more interesting is when he is called out on it, he'll just rewrite history, or make it seem trivial. Like with Jasper, it wasn't a lie, it was planned.

He is untouchable in his own mind. He'd make such an interesting case study.

I would throw my money in a fire before I gave it to Phil. I'm not against supporting streamers/content creators if you feel the entertainment they provide is worth your money, but I could never give money to someone who feels they are owed a living for producing lazy garbage-tier content.

I really believe that the majority of people who give him money are looking for attention (which probably isn't uncommon on Twitch). They want that badge (or whatever it is) next to their name in chat, and they like hearing Phil read their name when they send him a dollar. A smaller percentage of his supporters are trolls, some of whom send enough money that it's difficult to consider them trolls and not legitimate fans. And the smallest percentage of supporters are his true fans, although they make up for their small numbers by sending him the most money.

What is also fascinating about Phil is the way he talks, and more specifically, the words he uses. Also, know that he is very much aware of what he is doing.

For the longest time he is using the term "reactionary" when combining it with his gameplay. It doesn't mean what Phil believes it means though. It's an exclusively political term: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reactionary

It's also hilarious how he uses the term "interactive", because livesreaming is per definition interactive, because viewers can react to the streamer, and vice versa. However, Phil uses this to amplify the idea that he is someone who is invested in his viewers, as a way to make them feel special and of course, ultimately get more money out of his viewers.

"Adult" is another one of my favourites. I guarantee you, that if you have a conversation with anyone else in the entire fucking world, no one will use the word adult in the way Phil does. He does this, I believe, to give more credibility to what he does. He is 37 years old, but feels the need to underline constantly that he is an adult, and that others do not understand what such a life is like. It's easier to do that, than to admit that you sit in a man-cave all day playing video games. Funnily enough, it shows his disconnect between him and his audience, the people he desperately wants to "interact" with.

Speaking of man-cave, his "office". Because lets be honest, it's just a room, full of gamer stuff (nothing wrong with that per say), but he defends and justifies it by calling it an office, giving validity to his "job", while in reality he just sits on his ass all day, doing fuck all. It's funny to me how he has this compulsive need to justify himself. Any and all other streamers know what they are doing, and run with it. Fuck, they can even laugh about it. They know they are just playing games. But Phil needs to justify everything he does, lest he be diminished in who he is.

His need to justify everything he does, ties in neatly with all the excuses he makes when in actually he fucks up, rather than it being the game's fault. Again afraid of being diminished, his ego is so fragile he will do everything to protect it. Lying is a routine, and twisting facts so he doesn't like like a complete scumbag is paramount to him.

The thing is, I don't think he can stop. He has been doing this for 11 years now, isolating himself from the rest of the world, shutting down anyone even remotely critical of him. You can tell how different he is from today, compared with when he just was jobless and started out making more content for Youtube. Granted, his horrible gaming skills were evident back then, but how he treated the people he relies on to make ends meet is vastly different today.

They are nothing more than ATMs to him, only useful till they are empty.

People call him a liar and don't trust him because he constantly lies and misleads and withholds the truth. That's standard stuff in a GTA game, but Phil can't interact in that way with video game women because he's a happily married adult human. But finding out the car is called "The Shafter" is hilarious because dick jokes are the height of maturity.

I don't understand why people would want to watch his Youtube. His videos are just his streams from Twitch, but cut up into like hour chunks. The biggest problem is that he throws up like 7-8 videos a day. Who the hell would want to waste 7-8 hours of their precious time watching this buffoon fail at playing video games? Even a huge LPer like TheRadBrad puts up maybe 1 to 2 videos per day, and those aren't even as long as Phil's videos.
