Phil is pushing/changing the narrative once again. Instead of contributing, he is now calling it "crowdsourcing".

He once again stated that he is in a bad financial state, he is "on the edge" as he calls it. And this is upsetting because now he has to use his tips to buy games, because no one was gifting him PS Store Credits.

Pretty sure that if you are financially "on the edge", you have bigger concerns than the latest releases.

Didn't he just get paid from Twitch like a week ago? I understand bills and all that, but how the hell do you blow through all of your money in a week, without actually trying to plan out your spending to survive the month?

600 subs at $2.50 each is $1500 for the month, which doesn't factor in the tips/bits he gets from people. I felt like I was horrible with money, but this takes the cake easily.

It's so slimy for him to complain that he has to buy games. Streaming is his business. A portion of any money he gets should automatically be going towards the operation of that business, and that obviously includes purchasing games. He basically wants to be given 10 grand a month to pay his bills, and then on top of that he should be given extra money to buy games and equipment. I've said it before: He's not running a gaming stream, he's running a charity stream where he just happens to play games.

I'm sure he would see it as one of those situations in which he withholds information in order to protect himself. If he is preparing for a future outside of streaming, good for him (and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way). Given what we've seen from him over the years, however, I think it's more likely that he's not doing anything--he's simply asking for money for mysterious reasons we can't know about because doing that has worked in the past.

It would be so easy to give incentives for his donation goals. If x dollars are donated, he'll do a live DSP Tries It. If y dollars are donated, he'll extend the stream an extra hour. Or I'm sure there are other, better incentives. It's minor stuff that won't cost him much of anything and might actually be fun if done right. Instead, you should donate because he needs the money. Why does he need the money? You don't need to know that. Just give him as much money as he asks for and don't ask questions.

He is about to lose his house, but makes no effort to bring in more money. He is about to lose his house, but he makes no effort to cut costs. Etc.

Also, and this should basically tell you all you need to know. When he revealed that he needed 1800 dollars by the end of the month, he also let it be known that he could lose the house. If that were to happen, he can't stream anymore, that is how he put it. His priorities are all fucked up.

People also seemed to have figured out what is going on, based on what Phil has given out as far as information goes. The loan/mortgage has been sold from the bank where Phil got it, to another bank. This new bank seems a whole lot more aggressive about getting that money back. So.if he is actually trying to foreclose, it might actually end up biting him in the ass.

I don't understand how little effort he puts into to his job. I get being lazy or not being motivated, but he doesn't seem to want to do anything to improve his situation, not even simple things that aren't very difficult. Well, why put in effort when you could just sit there, not improve at all and have people still give you money. I just watched a video of him setting up the $1800 goal, and it's the same story as every other time: He needs to pay some mystery bill by a certain time, he can't tell you any details, this sucks, he might lose his house, he doesn't know what to do, he's hoping you can help him out. He may as well just film a standard begging video and dub in the amount that he needs, although that would involve editing, and we know he won't do that.

I guess it's a small thing, but when he was building up to setting the $1800 goal, he mentioned how this has been one of the best years he's ever had, on a personal level as opposed to a financial one. Funny how that doesn't come through in his streams. Can anyone say he looks happy or fulfilled or even content? To me, he looks absolutely miserable pretty much all the time. Unless he's going full clown-mode, he comes across as bitter and angry and deeply unhappy, enough so that I can almost--but not quite--feel sorry for him.

This BS has been going on for 8 years now(?), and he is telling people to lay off since people are tired of his non-stop begging? Lol

He's like the boy who cried wolf, or in Phil's case, poor.

As much dismay as I have for his paypigs, the well is going to dry up, and when an actual emergency surfaces, it'll all turn to shit. What he is doing is unsustainable for both himself and his fans.

He just wants people to believe him without any proof, wants people to feel sorry for him while acting like a complete, it's just impossible for me to feel any kind of sympathy for him.
