I don't like it as much as Last Surprise!

I don't think it works as a battle theme!

Reminds me too much of whatever song is playing when you're going for the treasure. It's an okay song, doesn't feel like a battle theme, maybe a boss theme.

I also like last surprise better, but I think I'm in the minority in that I don't really like last surprise as a battle theme either.

I like it, but it definitely pales in comparison to one of the all time greatest battle themes ever. It feels a lot like a battle theme though, has the same structure as Last Surprise. It just doesn't have that super fresh jazzy feel. It feels more like a P4 track or something. Still good though, but if it replaces Last Surprise entirely.....

I've only played P3P and P4G and I still like their original battle themes better than the new ones. It's just really hard to improve upon the 1 theme that arguably defines the whole game.

Pretty much everyone liked Last Surprise right away. I actually went the opposite way - started out loving it but it's hard to keep liking the song when, if you're playing the game efficiently, random battles usually end right before the good parts kick in. Continuous musical blue balls.

timing the all-out attack to YOULL NEVER SEE IT COMING is the only way to play

I always took it as a challenge to end the match before it got to the build up so I wouldn't feel the blue balls. They definitely designed the song so it would on average coincide with the all-out-attack in the typical battle, so being fast than that is a bonus.

I immediately liked last surprise but it's kind of worn on me

with THAT being said, roftt>mass destruction>last surprise>ttmh>wiping all out> whatever this is called

It's OK.

Last Surprise is way better.
