Or YouTubers with beeping going on in their videos. Had dinner at a buddies house once and all his were beeping. I bought sealed carbon monoxide detectors for our bedrooms that supposedly will last 10 years and signal end of life. Huh, the smoke detector and battery are on the shelf, still, since the last time I broiled, a couple of weeks ago. I love the new ones, probably won't last the full 10 years but even if they last half that I would be happy. --- I am a senior software engineer.
