I really bought into Ulti's final 3 lynch proclamation that he made. I just audibled on the order because Panth was the highest % play of corrik/panth/5tar in my mind and my gut said corrik was town

I let myself get convinced 5tar was the last one when I started looking at the game from that perspectice and everything just seemed like it fit so nicely

For me it's going to be who is easier for me to imagine being town

I'm kinda giving up on scum hunting.

I have an easier time explaining MZero's play as town than I do red's

MZero hasn't been all that involved but when he's around he has felt tuned in and there's been a few times he's chimed in with sound logical points that not everybody was seeing that made me feel good about him

The main things that cause me to lean town on red are just his Tom vote day 1 and then the fact that he's agreed with me.

What really did it for me was at the end of day 4 when I was making all these points about how sure I was that 5tar was the last scum and he made a specific point to ask when deadline was, we told him he said cool I can be here, he showed up and just said "Morning" and this was almost two hours before deadline.

I get that he probably was doing things but that to me looked like a newbie scum just throwing in the towel because they got caught.

Corrik maintained doubts that 5tar was scum and so did MZero and IGCD too I think. But red just went "yeah makes sense" and followed me.

I don't really feel great about red just passively following me onto a mislynch when it's the last one we can afford

- Tom switching from Scare to Red when they were tied 3-3 near the end of Day 1 to make it 4-2

- I think he was one of the first to suspect Panth

- Along with me, he was often brought up randomly by scum like "hey don't forget about these guys they're inactive". As scum I think his teammates would be fine with him flying under the radar

See how 2/3 of these points are dependent on scum's actions, not even red's actions.

What has red DONE. Red, one of the best town players in b8, what has he done?

And I don't think he even name dropped Panth first. I think that was ulti.

If you read the context of Tom's votes, he was basically being dragged around by Ulti.

I actually referenced this earlier in this topic I'm pretty sure.

Ulti strongarmed Tom into voting red then Tom hopped off red in a flash the instant there was an opportunity

To believe I'm scum these are the hoops you have to jump through

-first post voted Tom. drew pez and red's attention to him during day 1. went back to him when day was winding down.

-started day 2 on tom. Later on when IGCD was not backing down from a fake scan on Ulti, I said "wait don't end day there's something specific I want to talk about" and this led to death killing tom.

-tried to convince Corrik not to use his gladiate until at the very least our cop showed up on day 3.

-spent a lot of the day post-gladiate doing scum ISOs, trying to figure out the game from a perspective of whether both corrik and ulti were town

-start of day 4, when corrik was trying to bicker with me I just said whatever he's probably town and I put a harpoon through panth's chest. Keep in mind this is the only scum we've actually figured out this game via conventional means

-day 5 when I theoretically would have no teammates left as scum, I unwaveringly went all in on 5tar and didn't even entertain other avenues. I stuck my neck out ridiculously far on that lynch while I would hypothetically still have to survive another day after driving that mislynch if I'm scum

Here's the hoops you have to jump through to believe red is scum:

-scum mentioned his name on day 1

-he left a vote on Tom day 1. A vote from pretty early in the day which was literally not supported by him at all other than "sheeping pez"

-when directly asked (by me, no less) who was scum with corrik on day 3 he floated panth's name (and yours too)

And if you want to consider last night

No killing would have probably benefited me most

Whereas from red's seat, you were wanting to lynch me yesterday and (as red pointed out) corrik was very much of the mindset that he'd have to rethink everything if it hit lylo

Ok good news and bad news.

The good news is I'm likely around more today than i had planned.

The bad news is its because I'm not feeling well and cslling out from work.

Honestly i sae the ulti drops on a readback but they never registered me at the time. It was panth trying to butter up both sides of the argument that caught my attention.

Also this is a little facetious. For one, i was big in the game since the ulti/corrik fiasco. I was wrong on corrik but i think that day at the very least trapped panth in very hard.

The days before that i was very much busy at disney world(day 2 the big things happened when i wasn't here and it ended with a very set lynch).

I was hard in on panth and then on star. Trapped myself in on star and that was unfortunate but it felt like sound fucking reasoning. I was pretty damn sure the game was in hand.

Like consider the Panth and 5tar lynches

Panth lynch:
-I was in the driver's seat
-red was in passive agreement and hammered with 2 seconds left
-MZero, I don't even remember

5tar lynch:
-I was in the driver's seat
-red was in passive agreement and hammered
-MZero wasn't on board

One of you two is town. How either of you could look at that and conclude I'm the scum here is beyond me

MZero voted me yesterday. This path would look easy to you.

If you lynched me yesterday, then you'd have moved up to MZero's #1.

And you just didn't want corrik alive period because he was a wild card like you said.

Not to mention you'd be putting unnecessary suspicion on yourself by spending 1.5 game days bandwagoning Panth/5tar with me then heel turning at the last second to kill me instead.

This path is 100% easier for you to take as scum.

Those were not bandwagon. You never even registered to me on those lynches. I saw you digging into star at the end but i was long since set on star that day.

those last 2 flips honestly made me feel a bit better. The lack of giving a shits by IGCD was absolutely worrying a small part in the back of my mind, even if it seemed kind of crazy. Was just kind of resigned to losing if there was only 1 scanner.

I still think panth's flip confirms that Star is the obvious answer, will let everyone chime in first.

Yeah I misused the term bandwagon there. I really just meant red was in equal agreement with me on thise 2 lynches with very little doubt. As in we were both on the wagon. Not necessarily that red was strictly parroting me

The point was it still would look sketchy as fuck if red had switched to kill me before 5tar

And again. You only have to fool one town, not two. MZero has said I'm scum a long time so again, it's not really a defense.

Anyway I am doing some father's day stuff today so I'm about to be sparse for a while starting in an hour or two.

Corrik leaves me alive to feed his own ego and try to kill me or get me to be wrong.

I expected you or mzero would fear me and murder me. Mzero scum has you as a mislynch with corrik. You as scum get to go hey corrik that is too obvious why leave you alive(and again, you were highest on my town list of the 3, so it was also the possibility i gave the least thought).

The logic gets kind of circular but that is the basic idea.

My point is if scum corrik shot nobody, MZero goes for me before he goes for you.

And it doesn't work for you to say I would have been persuaded to kill you either because corrik was my next suspect and also because just earlier you were saying how I'm a seasoned player not as easy to fool, etc.

I couldn't fill a book. The best he has going for him is the miller claim.

Beyond that, I dont think he got looks from anyone. The scumteam was kind of passive aggressive towards him, though I think panth almost outright ignored his existence.

Hes never been high on my town list I was just hoping for something from him today to hopefully give a better read.

One of the bigger things he has going for him is none of the town really suspected him either. But its also one of those bet it all miller claims. We basically never lynch the miller claims.
