It was kind of sad that most people never really got into it all that much. My opinion of the book was... slightly less charitable. Mainly because it came out right in the middle of the original "revision" where they gutted the continuity. It was basically "Hey, remember the last six years worth of books and comics you bought? Like more than a dozen books and something like three dozen comics? About half of which was building up to a major new storyline? Yeah, none of that counts as canon anymore. And literally all of the major characters in those are now dead. Also, go fuck yourself. And then most of what they replaced it with was kind of boring and vanilla and completely impossible to care about, so it kind of pushed me away from that side of the franchise.
