He is not town because he said to use it on him. In fact, you should question why town would want it used on them at all. It doesn't make sense for someone to not want it used on scum when you truly think about it.

Town doesn't need power. Using the roll just to use it is bad for town. But of course people do it all the time with vig shots. Though I do appreciate people who hold their shot until later in game when it gives us something to hold over scum.

-Corrik makes a big deal of not understanding all this fancy wrestling jargon.
-Corrik claims Braun. (for the record I still don't know exactly what Gladiator is or see why it makes sense for Braun)
-Corrik references Braun's slightly memey entrance theme.
-Corrik starts capitalizing Lynch every time he types it.
-I reference Becky Lynch ("Corrik is The Man")
-Corrik doesn't appear to have acknowledged it. (I was waiting to see if he would at all.)

So he's claiming Braun, but breadcrumbing Becky. That would normally be already enough to raise a flag, but Corrik strikes me as the type of dude who would fakeclaim D1 as town. (also in that category: Ulti, Chris) Fine. But! How did he know the BRAAAAUUUUUNNNNN thing? He seems opposed to learning anything about wrestling, and it's probably not something that would show up to a quick googling. It's the kinda thing that might show up in his role PM, but if he's actually Braun, why breadcrumb Becky? The only explanation that makes sense to me is that he has help from a scumteam.

Im heading to bed. I think Corrie should hold off on using the power. I still lean scum on death but Im way less sure than I was previously. Having taken a step back and trying to look at it impartially instead of youre targeting me because you know Im town. I still think Scares post is the most peculiar because the reasoning doesnt make sense to me. The accusation was that I was being too soft which I wasnt. I was explaining my reason for suspecting SBell and death was heavily influenced by their reactions to Corriks questioning. I feel that any experienced player that was town would know this isnt unusual for him and their reactions seemed panicked though death has said it was more annoyed or dismissive. First thing tomorrow Im going to go through all of Scares post and see what was happening at the time that made Scare feel the need to divert attention to me.

Ok, let me go more in depth than just saying roommates yo.

The roommates thing somewhat gets into each other's heads when we're scum. Neither of us is particularly good at defending ourselves against the other's accusations. Tom has continually brushed off my suspicions of him. Yesterday you can play this off a little bit as Tom only likes to respond to direct confrontations. You could say that by playing coy like I have that I haven't given him enough to respond to. So you can WIFOM this a bit and go either way based on your reads of his other posts. I think it's more of a scum read on him than a town read, but I was being coy. So yes could just be WIFOM.

Why do I keep asking him about my alignment? This is also important. I can easily tell the difference in how I play as scum and how I play as town. I'm typically not a good enough scum to fake it. Tom caught me out on exactly this in Japanese History Mafia in 2017, last time I played. I'm not playing that way at all this time. I don't expect others to buy my words here. But I do expect that of Tom. He knows me well. In fact I did one thing that I figured he could not ignore about my alignment. I actually voted him. I don't think there's any game that scum Pez would ever vote for town Tom on D1. And I don't think Tom would ever think I would do that. I said as much to SBell some posts ago.

Tom is not 100% sure of my alignment. I think that he knows I'm town because he knows he's scum. He adds the hedges in on my alignment though because he thinks that only scum should be 100% certain who town is at this moment. But in my understanding of town Tom he should maybe not be 100% certain I'm town. But he should be pretty dang close to 100%.

His "play" on Corrik is the kind of thing he'd do as town I think. This is enough for me to say make your own read on Tom. But it's not enough for me to remove my vote.

I do not recall voting you when you were town as scum D1. I have definitely voted you in do or die situations to win as mafia, but probably only once. I stand by the rest of my play, as in I stand by that even without the vote you should be convinced I'm town. So either I've gotten better as scum at imitating my town play, which the last game I played tells me I haven't, or you should be convinced I'm not scum. Again my best explanation for that is that you're intentionally hedging. Of course because I've said that you have to keep hedging and can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.

Okay my rambling thoughts in unedited form.

Corrik claims gladiator on page 6
Pezloco from the start says not to use the power even before corrik fully claims it (he softclaimed it first)

Han asks for facts about the role and claims that Pez is right about Corrik always being unhelpful.
When Corrik gives more data, Han comes to the conclusion that Corrik is just lying but still allows him to prod me
At least he made his stance clear, but it doesnt add much.

IGCD just sorta implies he thinks Corrik is fakeclaiming, I think. He doesnt really talk about it besides saying Corrik always acts weird.
he then later adds Corrik is weirder than usual, but that statement doesnt go anywhere.

Red makes clear he doesnt believe Corrik and says little else. Suppose that disneyworld might have something to do with that as well. Still better than saying nothing.

5tarscream just calls me and sbell scum and doesnt comment on corrik other than thinking I panicked. I guess thats a sign that he wont mind Corrik gladiating me.
Oh and just now he finally came back to say Corrik should hold it back after all. Late, but the effort is appreciated.

Tom apparently doesnt even know what a Gladiator is, which makes sense. I like it less that he basically condones me being shot without ever having commented on me.
Then later Tom offhandedly mentions wanting to lynch Corrik (or Sbell/Han). So toss him in with the 'corrik is lying' crowd.
But he does want to cut Corrik some lack after pez says he thinks Corrik is town.

Sbell comes back from the movie and says corrik shouldnt use the gladiator until a consensus is made. I like this reaction more than anything.
Though If Corrik is town, It is slightly concerning that Sbell immediately went to buy the claim.

Ulti outright dares Corrik to shoot him instead and is confident Corrik is lying anyway. Or scum.
He suggests shooting Sbell too, because Han always reads Sbell well. Might be important for later.

Scare call 5tarcream scum. Considering he lists Corrik as scum too, I guess he thinks Corrik is lying anyway.

Mzero kinda talks around the claim. Never see him mention Corrik either. Do not like.

Puns doesnt say anything at all either. I like him less and less.

Eaed just waffles about Corrik and softly implicates me.
Doesnt mention anything concrete either way and feels like he wants to stay far away from the gladiator business.

Panth makes clear that he distrusts me with that vote of his. He does also make clear it should be used on me if it has to be. So he looks decent, just misguided.

Tldr:

I like Pez's responses the most.
Sbell second, but with the caveat that he did seem to buy Corrik rather quickly.
Han and Panth had okay interactions. Scare a little less, but on the okay side.
Not sure what to make of Red and Ulti yet.
