It's not expensive. In the US, they're one of the last places to have a real $5 meal deal. I imagine they do the same in Canada.

It's $30 in the states. Still way too much, you're better off frying chicken at home with healthier oils, it's cheaper.

Pretty much everything is cheaper at home. Granted, back when they had that Go Cup deal, it was better than anything I could do at home since I was getting a full meal for a little over $2.

ok 12-piece feast is $36.49 or I guess $38.31 with tax, so that's close, but yours is still slightly more expensive, not including delivery if you had it delivered.

Chicken has become ridiculously expensive over the last few years. It's considered healthier than red meat, and I have this theory than when something starts to get a good rep in terms of nutrition, then it will very quickly become expensive. Can't have people being healthy since it means eating less.

Considering grocery store baggers apparently make around $30/hr in Canada, $42 for a family meal should be pretty affordable to anyone with a job in Canada.

If you want cheap fried chicken, go to Walmart. They have 8 pieces for like $6, and it's usally pretty decent. And they have a much better selection of sides. They also have rotisserie chickens, if you want something healthier that you have to dissect.

A lot of supermarkets also have fried chicken, though the quality varies from store to store.

For like $6 I'll fuck up a rotisserie chicken from Walmart or a grocery store. Great bang for the buck there. Most of the time, those chickens are cheaper than a deli sub.
