I actually didn't like the art style of Jojo at first either, although it's hard to put into words. I do remember really not liking the colour palette of part 1, which combined with finding part 1 dull in general made it a chore to get through.

Jojo definitely picks up in part 2 and I was fully on board with the art during part 3.

Tatami properly finished now. It's one of those things where I struggle to find a massive flaw with it. The plot is fairly tight and there didn't seem to be anything unnecessary in there. Really clever, didn't outstay its welcome, and was just overall pretty fun. The only thing I had trouble with at times was engaging with it as it's not exactly edge of the seat stuff, although I was really looking forward to the finale after episode 10. Great OP and ED to boot. Definitely something I'd recommend to anyone considering watching it. Probably one of the best anime (from an objective PoV) I've ever watched, although I'm not sure if it quite breaks my personal top 10.

Yes, afaik this is because of how they are often shelved or placed in stores. A lot of times only the binder is visible and catchy titles don't really generate as much interest as a title that basically explains the entire premise. So unless you are lucky enough to get exposure in a serialized magazine you have to let the buyer know right away what they are picking up.
