I stopped playing Dragalia (and GFL, though that was before DL so I could focus on Dragalia lol). Dragalia I stopped playing because like I said in the last topic, I was questioning the benefits it had for me in the long run.

Can't lie and say it isn't rough and I don't think about it every day lol. Though it's also been only 6 days.

A new banner is up in Revue Starlight ReLIVE to celebrate 1 month since the game's launch.. For the next week, a new banner will be up that features double the chance to get a 4-star stage girl compared to normal banners, and includes an even further rate-up for Black Lion Nation Kaoruko and the brand new Puss In Boots Futaba. However, just as a heads up: The majority of the high 4-star chance goes to those two getting the rate-up, to the point where the odds of getting any 4-star stage girl besides those two are actually lower overall than on the normal star gem banner. On top of that, neither one of these two stage girls is limited, so they're in the permanent gacha pool already

So to sum it up: Unless you specifically want one of those two characters, I would not recommend pulling from this banner. Save your gems for the KiraFes banner featuring Amaterasu Hikari, which (based on the JP schedule) should be coming within the next month or two.

granblue is doing gods work here with the new story event change, they are letting you re-farm damascus crystals off of any story event you were not present for since the games inception OR any crystals you may have missed due to being super weak and not getting them

you can farm 7 of these crystals per event in addition to the 3 you were already getting from each event, making it effectively 1 bar per event until you run out in the shop

however this only applies to NEW SCENARIO events and not any reruns or collabs that might have had dama, same goes for farming the missed dama, only the new scenario events at the end of every month/start of next have this feature

I'm guessing generic trainers are going to be your "R" (like Hex Maniac), the gym leaders/Elite 4 are SR, and Main characters, Rivals, cartoon MCs, and champions are SSRs

The problem for me is this: most of my favorite trainers in the Pokemon series (Lance, Whitney, Candice, Korrina, etc.) don't use any Pokemon that I'd call my favorites, and most of the Pokemon that I would call my favorites either are used by a major trainer I don't like that much (Sidney using Absol, Aaron using Drapion, etc.) or aren't used by any major trainer at all (Ampharos, Shedinja, the Porygon line, etc.)

The only occurrence I can think of where one of my favorite trainers also uses one of my favorite Pokemon is Shauntal from 5th gen's Elite Four, who uses both Chandelure and Golurk. So I guess she would be top priority for me to pull/whale for whenever she would be added.

Not at all. It's smart because they know a big appeal with the gacha community is the husbando/waifu aspect. And who seriously wants another Pokemon game where all you do is just collect pokemon yet again. They're trying something new and it should be interesting imo

The (out of season) Christmas holiday event is officially underway in Revue Starlight ReLIVE, another one focusing on the stage girls of Seisho Music Academy. The prize for grinding the event is the adorable red-nosed reindeer, Karen, while the 4-star gacha pull for the event is Santa herself, Mahiru. As usual, Karen and her potential bloom crystals can only be obtained in this event. But since this is a seasonal event, Mahiru is also a limited-time stage girl and will not being added to the permanent gacha pool beyond this event! So if you think she would make a good addition to your team, are a whale completionist who must have everyone, and/or really like Mahiru herself (hey @Spidey5 this is for you) she might be worth trying to pull for. But be careful! KiraFest and the very powerful Amaterasu Hikari are coming soon, which is the far better banner for most players to save for.




The actual format of this event is quite different from the previous events. I'll detail some of the major changes here, then I'll link to a video that I found on Reddit that provides a lot of other useful info, so I don't need to type as much. But the most important thing to know about this event...

The lottery system is GONE! You earn event points by defeating the two separate bosses of the event, and you will know exactly which items you will get, in exactly which order, and exactly how many event points it will take to get them. The most important number to know is 17,000 points, which is how many it takes to get all of Karen's potential bloom crystals to max her out. There are other earnable rewards before and after that point, up to 50,000 points for the biggest of whales to go for. You also earn santa hats from defeating the bosses, to be used in the new event store to buy various items, including potential crystals, star gacha tickets, additional copies of an event memoir, and more.

One last tip before I turn it over to the video I found: the added power boost that the two event stage girls provide now applies to all allies and not just themselves! So even if you don't plan on leveling her, bring the free Karen with you when you take on the bosses, and try to find a support partner that has one of the event stage girls set. Yeah, it does suck that two of your favorites came one right after the other. That's just some unfortunate timing/luck. If it makes you feel any better, there's a free Hikari coming later on in the Valentine's Day event, so that will get you a new one of your favorites without needing to spend any gems.

I mean... at least you got her. Imagine if you made it that far and the guaranteed 4* stage girl after 100 pulls ended up being someone else!

Plus you can use those memoirs (three copies!?) to greatly boost the rate you get the red/blue santa hat rewards from the event bosses. There are some pretty good rewards in the event shop and in the point rewards beyond the 17,000 mark where you max out Reindeer Karen, including some of the rank-up pieces that you can't grind for normally.

It's just "watch video ads for free pulls and stamina", or another way to look at it, "mute your volume and look away from the screen for like 30 seconds at a time for free pulls and stamina". Completing all 6 steps grants you a grand total of 37 gacha pulls, including a guaranteed 3-star or higher stage girl at the end, then it resets back to step 1 and you can do it again. I've only done 2 steps of it so far before the 3-hour timer kicked in and I have to wait to do more, and I pulled these without spending a single gem:




The selection of 4-star stage girls is limited (Sun General Maya is the most notable) but even if you mostly get duplicates and memoirs, it's still literally free pulls and resources for very minimal effort. There's really no reason not to do it.

Fair enough. I probably would have quit already if I didn't get Phantom Nana after everything I put into getting her. But I got her, and I'm enjoying the game enough now that I would probably stick with it even if I was unlucky enough to not pull Saber Karen when she arrives in a couple of months.

If you click on "gacha details", then "offer details" on the menu that pops up, you can see the exact odds for every single individual part of the gacha, including that guaranteed one if you go 100 pulls without a 4-star. The guaranteed 4-star at the end has a higher chance of giving you the featured stage girl than not giving it (it says 58.3% for Mahiru in this event) but it's not 100%.

Just did steps 3 and 4 of the ad watching gacha and pulled a duplicate of the Musketeer Hikari that I pulled a few hours ago. Pulling a duplicate of a 4-star stage girl gives you a whopping 180 creation jewels, enough to buy 4 of the unfarmable attribute gems that you use to max rank characters.

The free stamina from the "watch video ads for free pulls and stamina" gacha really helped, and I've already fully potential bloomed my Reindeer Karen for this event. My all-Karen team is looking pretty good, and I'm not spending a single gem until Saber Karen comes out in a couple of months.



Spidey, I really do hope you pull Amaterasu Hikari when she comes out, because I'd love to face your army of Hikaris with my army of Karens. It'll be like the final battle of the anime itself, except on an even bigger scale.

The "watch ads for free pulls" gacha in Revue Starlight ReLIVE ends in one day, and I've had some luck with it so far, but haven't pulled the big prize that I wanted (Sun General Maya) yet. I got so many memoirs that I filled up my inventory and had to sell a bunch of them. Hopefully I can pull Maya before it ends. I did have the luck I wanted in Girls' Frontline though, because I got the one new T-doll added in the latest update that I really wanted.

In its first full month on the US App/Play Stores, Revue Starlight ReLIVE was 29th in revenue (with about $205,000 made in the month of May) among anime-style mobile/gacha games. Not a bad debut. Some other notable placements outside of the big guns include:

I'm very happy that Girls' Frontline is doing as well as it is, and it looks like Langrisser overcame the bad press it had upon release and is doing well for itself. But most importantly: I'm shocked at how well Epic Seven is performing. To be this high on the list, above so many huge franchises and only behind DBZ Dokkan Battle, without the help of a big-name franchise behind it? That's absolutely insane.
