Darc (or Tart, as she was called in JP) is coming to the EN version of Magia Record this week. She's one of the most powerful and desirable limited units in the game, one that many MagiReco players have been saving their gems for. Two additional magical girls will also be added, one of which is a reward from the event that Darc will bring with her.

Today also brought a PV for Magia Record's upcoming anime adaptation, along with confirmation that the anime will begin airing next January.

It's been exactly a week for me today!

Honestly, the only really meh part of E7 is going through Episode 1. But the entire section between early to late game is really fun, then you have to grind like a madman to reach the higher tiers of arena and abyss, and that part really sucks. But after the grind it's fun again til the meta changes or the new content kicks your ass and you gotta grind again.

I think some of the ppl who started at launch played now, they might enjoy it because getting the regular 5*s are so easy now. You just about get one every month at the worst now due to enhanced daily rewards

Looks like Azur Lane is adding in the new Italian ships tomorrow after a 10-hour (!) maintenance. Only a few are made through construction, though, which should help the cube-depleted masses. Looks like they're not releasing Warspite's retrofit along with it, though, which is disappointing (York's is still coming out).

Me, too! That and voiiiddsss. I'm 83 exp away from leveling, luckily enough. Planning to get my wings/stam at max, popping off a final EX to level right before reset and doing a ton of new crap tonight.

I have the impression this chapter is going to be really hype, too.

Never heard of it. I'm always hesitant to try out a gacha that isn't tied to an IP that I'm already a fan of, because it's tougher for me to get invested in it without a certain goal like wanting my favorite character from the anime/series/whatever that the game is based on. Girls' Frontline is the only big exception, because I liked the idea for the game and characters so much and the gameplay is so fun and player-friendly.

I'm playing it. It mostly caught my attention due to the selective summon they implemented. I've heard of people pulling 3-4 5* units from it, although I wasn't able to get past two 5*'s myself. I really wish more games would do this.

With that said, the game will probably only last a few weeks for me tbh. It's not bad but it just doesn't feel like something that'll hold my attention for very long. We shall see though.

I finally decided to try Epic 7. Did a few rerolls and decided to go with Iseria. Im really liking those special animations

Iseria is probably the most future proof hero in the game. She's got dispel buffs, buff null debuff, and def break all in a single move, which are all probably some of the most wanted utility in the game, and she's got complete cooldown reset on her s2, which breaks Tamarinne and Dark Corvus who start with absurdly high cooldown. She's also got def break on her s1, which is pretty insane.

She'd be the best character in the game if the AI wasn't so goddamn bad at using her >.>. In defense arena teams she's hard to field because the AI will always go S3>S2, when S2 is just a free turn and doesn't affect her skill rotation in the slightest. At the very least, she's a PVE and offense PVP team goddess and I wish I had her =_=

I like that more and more gachas are starting to do the 30 multipulls and choose after tutorial thing that I believe Epic 7 started. I guess developers are starting to realize that people will reroll the fuck out of their games for a good/great start and the faster they get done rerolling the faster they get to actually playing and maybe even spending money lol

Revue Starlight ReLIVE is doing something interesting. There's a new banner with 5 stage girls spotlighted (none of them are new additions) and each player gets to choose which stage girl will have increased pull rates for them. So if you specifically want Sun General Maya, or Heracles Michiru, or one of the other girls shown in the banner, you can choose which one to be the one that you have a better chance of pulling.

It's still bait, and I'm not pulling it because I'm saving for Musashi Nana... but for those who want to, they get a choice which girl they want to go for.

Magia Record was a massive pain in the ass to re-roll, I totally agree.

But ReLIVE was pretty good. You had the 2-step gacha where the first 10-roll was half off and the second 10-roll guaranteed you a 4-star stage girl, then you had that 5-roll that you could reroll infinitely until you got the 4-star stage girl you wanted and a couple of 3-stars to go with her.

We're at 490, so I'll start getting the next topic ready. While I do that, I have a question for you guys.

When it comes to PvP in gacha games, do you prefer direct PvP where both you and your opponent are controlling your teams in real time, or do you prefer indirect PvP, where you face other players' teams but they're controlled by the AI? I generally prefer the latter due to there being less problems with people disconnecting, plus you can often get some extra rewards without doing anything when your defense team did well while you were gone.

Being able to auto-battle while grinding is a godsend in gacha games. Some games even go the extra mile and just let you flat-out skip the level and claim the rewards in exchange for the stamina required to play it.

Same. Magia Record and (when I used to play it) Fire Emblem Heroes have a similar system. Revue Starlight ReLIVE has (fitting to the game's title) live PvP, but I've barely touched it. Also, the next topic is up now, but finish this one first.
