Ugh.....what have I done. I just re-downloaded FFBE yesterday after about 2 years of not playing it and holy shit they stack you up with rewards for the Comeback campaign. I had a throwaway account still linked to FB with no 5* units. Ended up with 8 of them after using the rewards with 4 of them being top tier at the moment.

Gumi being generous? Mind = Blown.

Just a quick reminder so I can bump the topic while I'm on vacation: There's a new Beauty and the Beast event coming in Revue Starlight ReLIVE tomorrow, with Shiori as Belle and Akira as the Beast.

There was a new 4-star magical girl and event added to Magia Record today, Ren Isuzu. Dark element, seems to be pretty good for killing bosses, cute design, not a limited character. I'm not going to pull for her though, just gonna stick with the permanent gacha since I'm 40 pulls away from the pity 4-star.

It's fun to see new skill mechanics whenever they pop up (Ramona's tapping the screen for more hits one). It's tempting to draw but I'll still resist, that anniversary is so soon and I'm already at 15k and like..50-60 draws via tickets. Going to be an eldwater bath when I let loose.

Revue Starlight ReLIVE has a new event coming tomorrow, a White Day holiday event featuring Ichie and Fumi. Also, to celebrate 2 million downloads worldwide, each player is getting 1800 free gems over the next few days, and a new banner for a "Siren" Akira was added.

Yeah, I personally have no stake in the summer banner. It's probably going to be a basic bitch swimwear type of thing, which I'm so tired of. Makes it easy to last until the anniversary at least.

It would have to be really really really good for me to pull on it. I got dragons pretty much set for me right now. I'm only missing bad ones like Gilgamesh and Poseidon.

I'm lacking in a lot of good 5* dragons. I *have* good ones, but they're not uncapped so I'm still better off using 4* most of the time. :(

I personally just use the unbound dragons. My Juggernaut is far better than my Nyarlathotep for example but it has never made a difference. I've been able to clear nightmare every day without much trouble.

I do if it's a dragon I really like, like Nyarla. He's so creepy looking and his animation is cool, too.

So I got really lucky and decided to use a handful of single tickets, ended up getting Ramona. I'm not sure if I want to use her or not, and maybe the reasoning is silly. I can replace Veronica with her ez, but Ramona seems like someone that flourishes when she's controlled, thanks to her first skill. But I really enjoy controlling Marth.

Dammit, I think I just got locked out of Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation.

The new update has rendered it incompatible with Androids running 4.0+, and unfortunately that includes Nox Player.

While there's settings to run it at 5.0+ instead, the game refuses to launch when trying to play it that way. (In fact, even before this update SMT wouldn't run on Nox if it was set higher than 4.0+). So as it currently stands I have no way to run it at all. Thanks Sega, wonderful anniversary gift you got me there.

I've tried using Bluestacks before, and I never really got it to play nice with SMT. That's why I moved on to Nox in the first place, and when it worked fine, I stuck with it.

Anyway, it seems the whole "no Android 4.0 support" thing has been happening with more and more games lately, and the reason why Nox's own Android 5.0 emulator is lackluster is because they've never had incentive to perfect it when just about everything worked on the 4.0 emulator just fine.

Hopefully this means Nox will step it up and make the 5.0 emulator more compatible in the future, but there's no telling how long that will take.

I've been actively playing the game for almost a year, so there was never any worry about losing my account. I was even logged in when the game went down for maintenance yesterday (which is when they implemented the current patch that's giving me issues).

You say Nox is working for you right now with SMT? Because mine says "your device isn't compatible with this version" when I looked in the Google Play Store trying to update it (and then later trying to re-install it when I thought that might fix the problem).

According to something I read on Reddit (and assuming they're correct) the issue is that Nox uses a 32-bit system for Android emulation which SMT is no longer compatible with. This is apparently true even if you try to run a 5.0 or 7.0 version of Nox because they're 32-bit based as well.

General consensus about the issue seems to be "wait until the Nox makers patch it" but I have no idea how long that could take.

I also tried Bluestacks in the meantime, but it's not working for me either. I don't know if it's due to the same incompatibility issue or if it's just me not being familiar with Bluestacks settings though.

Chapter 9 of Dragalia Lost was really good. Feels the writing is improving as it goes, or at the very least it's beating my expectations. Chelle is a legitimately interesting character which I didn't expect.

Also I have no idea what to do with the few augment items I have and I'm stressin' lol.

The new MG levels are insanely hard. I haven't seen anyone who has been able to get to level 50 without Sarisse and haven't seen anyone get level 50 water.

New event in Revue Starlight ReLIVE tomorrow. They're doing a mafia crime story this time, and Kaoruko looks awesome in her Don Salvatori boss outfit. If I weren't saving all of my star gems for Musashi Nana down the road, I would be very tempted to pull for her.



There was also a new magical girl added in Magia Record today. Felicia only starts out as a 2-star, but she's one of those that will be really good in the future once she's maxed out and her 5-star uncap is added to the game. Plus she's pretty cute.
