I mean, if you want to keep as many teams in as long as possible for an all-star season, it makes sense.

Even in previous All-Star seasons the 7th place team was eliminated in Leg 6 or 7.

Rachel was never entertaining and one of the big reasons why Season 20 is the worst season. At least the one of the other reasons was nice enough to get eliminated first this time.

season 4 certainly isnt great but old school tar quality is enough to put it over like two-thirds of the modern seasons lol

The only time Rachel has EVER been bad was in BB12, when her delusions allowed the aggressively boring Brigade alliance to have a smokescreen that hid their dominance. BB13, she was great, and TAR, she's been one of the only good things about BB20, BB24, and now BB31.

TAR's nadir was the stretch of seasons 19 through 24. I don't think anyone would disagree there.

Except that 21 is actually pretty decent.

22 is easily a top 5 season though, it's a wonder it ended up in that stretch.

watching Rick's longform interview with Rob is pretty good. Just a dude who loved being out there, did everything he could, made a couple emotional mistakes, isn't really bitter, very happy about his experience about there and being a part of the whole thing.

I wasn't his biggest fan but he added a lot to the season

I disagree. While Colin & Christie are one of my favorites, I don't think its the boot order that's terrible. It's the edit. While there have been all kinds of hysterical little moments, there's nothing really personally connecting us to those teams. That's what makes it hard to get invested in a team this year.

I like every team though! Definitely feel like the Reilly's were at the end of the line either way, even if they had made it through this leg somehow they would just end up at the back again soon. They've had so many close calls already.

Becoming parents did wonders for them. I know you haven't seen TAR5 (and you should - it's almost universally considered to be one if the best seasons), but they were a totally different team back then.

Colin in particular is a completely different person now, though you can see the occasional sign of who he used to be (like Cly said). He prevents himself from unleashing the full fury of the "Broken Ox" (his equivalent of Abi-Maria's "Brazilian Dragon") now, reining it back in every time it rears its head.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing any of the remaining teams win. Now that the one I couldn't stand is gone, I like everyone left (but don't really LOVE anyone). The Afghanimals are probably lowest for me, too, but not by much (because they're highly entertaining).
