Welp. I messed up with my Magic playoff tickets.
Because I'm a preferred ticket holder I got to go into the presale event like 6 hours before they went on sale to the general public. I had the tickets in my basket but then got bogged down with work. Just got a chance to go back and try get them and they are 3x the price they were earlier even for the nosebleeds due to being on general sale now and being demand driven. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I mean I'm not sure there's much of a difference between the Raptors and 76ers for us since we have matched up with the Raptors really well. However, the Raptors did kill us last time we played (granted they shot lights out from 3) so I think I'd prefer the 'lesser' team in the 76ers. Usually when we play the 76ers their starters do well against us and then they have no bench so that pulls us back into it. Plus I'm sure the team will want to take a winning run into the playoffs to maintain momentum. We're 10-2 in the last 12. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm incredibly biased, but the Raptors were injured, resting players, learning chemistry, or not playing to their best abilities in what felt like a lot of games against the lower seeded teams in most games this year.
The Magic have had our number, but that last game is probably closer to playoff Raptors than most of the other games were. With the Pistons, I don't think the Raptors started a healthy, full roster in a single game against them all year other than that last one. I'd be very surprised if a series against either of those teams went to 6 games. This is of course assuming Kawhi continues to be Kawhi and Lowry isn't the playoff Lowry that we got in the Demar days where he actively hurts the team on the court. If that happens, the sky is the limit for whoever the 7th seed is! --- I was the final Undisputed Champion in UCA history, however Advokaiser was the Guru Champion! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I mean Danny Green scored 29 points (career high I think) and hit like 5 highly contested 3s in a row in the 3rd quarter. He finished 7/10 from 3 with a 73.3% FG%. I'm not sure you can rely on him to do that every game.
That being said, I still think 4-1 or 4-2 would be the likely outcome. I for sure don't think anyone will sweep us. We have an outside shot to upset someone just based off current form and there's always the chance that sticks. But I've seen so many people (not on here) say the Magic will be swept without realizing just how good our record has been against the Top 5 (8-2 since Jan 31st) or in general (21-9 since Jan 31st) at the late stage of the season. ... i think i'd ideally like milwaukee to have to deal with orlando (by far the toughest east lower seed), so here's hoping they
since i'm seeing brooklyn's home playoff game (perhaps a dumb move given that the celtics may play that night)... i'd hope they get the raptors (since they've got tiebreakers on both DET and ORL, so they can't be 8th). more interesting players and probably a more competitive game. ironically i think the raptors are the softest touch among 1-2-3 in terms of upset potential, but they're the team i think that BOS/MIL/PHI should fear the most --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
