The Chiefs always seem to make it look easy once they get going, their problem is usually suddenly hitting a wall at the worst time possible.

Let's see if they do something about that

There is definitely a slot as our tenth guy gave up a couple seasons ago and is only there to fill that final spot as I haven't found anyone else who would be active.

It's a league with friends that I've been running since 2013. There's about 5 or 6 of us that have been committed every year who show up to every draft with the rest being a rotating cast of people who almost always lose interest.

This year was actually our best year in awhile as 8/10 of the players were active the entire season with pickups and lineups, and the 9th team was in a playoff spot for the first 75% of the year despite not changing a lineup after the first few weeks.

We also switched over to full PPR for the first time this year, which has been a lot of fun. I have it at only the top 4 making the playoffs to make it competitive and this year third through eight were separated by one win which made it pretty hectic in the final few weeks.

I am less inclined to join a league where I'd essentially be a rando, but we'll see how I feel in 8-9 months <_<

Seriously though, there are spots open in my league if anyone is interested. At this point only about half of us are close friends and the rest of the guys are friends of friends that I don't even know, so it's not a close knit thing.

So it's looking like the person I lost to in my money league last week, the 6-7 team who only made the playoffs because the commish is bad and made it an 8 team playoffs for a 12 team league, is now going to win the league and take home the $550.

I need to remember to never pick against the Seahawks ever again in primetime. The amount of garbage calls that go their way in close primetime games is ridiculous.

If you're Seattle's secondary, you can do whatever you want downfield. If you're the other team, minimal contact at best will be called to extend your drive when you fail on 3rd down.

Last week I had some confidence in my picks and was 5-10 at this point

This week I had no confidence in my picks at all and I'm 13-2

Usually I feel like at this point in the season I understand va lot but nope this year is wtf

Oh wow. Guy in the championship match in my money league lost both Gurley and Beckham this week. He had to start the likes of Jarvis Landry, Derrick Henry, and Taylor Gabriel and still managed to put up 142.92 points. He was up by like 9 points and his opponent had Kelce going in the Sunday night game but Kelce couldn't pull through for that guy and he won by 1.44 points without Gurley/Beckham in the championship match.

Does Andy Reid get canned if they dont get to the superbowl?

As good as their record all their losses feel like its on him

I mean that's not too dissimilar to what happened to me granted in round 1 of playoffs.

Highest scoring team in league by a large margin. Playoffs week. Hunt fired, Conner injured, OBJ injured entering round 1 of playoffs. Still score 148.7 and am up by 50+. Lose because opponent has Amari Cooper who goes off for 54.7 points (plus 1 extra player for 5 points). If I had made it through that match I'd have won all remaining matches too.

The amount of salt he has for a coach that lasted half the season. Is incredible

Or the second half of the browns schedule was just easier

Speaking of the Browns they could do exactly what the Bengals did last year and kill the Ravens on the road in week 17 and I kind of think they feel like way more of a threat to do it than the Bengals did last year.

I'm not sure the Jags should take that? Even considering their own QB situation, Carr isn't an answer there in either the short or long term.

I think we see the Jags make a strong push to sign Foles to a short-term deal this offseason though, to give them time to draft and develop a guy.

Raiders won't be able to take him until 2020 draft unless I am mistaken that Tua is a true sophomore.

You have to be three years removed from high school. A lot of people go to the NFL after their "sophomore" seasons because they redshirt their first year.
