I was waiting for more confirmation before posting about this (since the first leak happened like two weeks ago), but I think I've seen enough leaked material to say that it's most likely legit. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the newest batch of Precure coming next year...

*designs have not been officially revealed yet and are technically considered spoilers*





It looks like Toei is definitely going with a space theme, as was speculated when the title of Star Twinkle Precure was first leaked. This series has some big shoes to fill after how good and ambitious Hugtto Precure has been this year, but based on these designs, I think it's off to a solid start.

The pink one looks like an absolute dork and I love her design. I hope she swings those hair balls on the ends of her twintails like a weapon at some point. The blue(-ish green, maybe turquoise?) one might actually be an alien if the information from the leaker is correct, and her design seems interesting. The purple one honestly looks like nothing special, but yellow over there definitely attracts some attention. She's definitely not someone born in Japan, and I'm pretty sure she's the first dark-skinned main Cure that we've seen in the franchise. Her design is cool, and I'm interested to hear about her backstory and origins.

I did feel kind of bad for Aqua at times. She's a lot out her league. Umaru is just spoiled and gets everything she wants though. Her main saving point is that she's cute

I mean, everything horrible that happens to Aqua is specifically her fault, but at least she doesn't continue (usually) antagonizing it further...

Yeah. We have VERY different things we look for in anime. When I first entered these topics I thought you were just ignoring me and my tastes, lol. But no, we just have very different yet valid opinions on anime.

I know. It really seems like we have very little in common when it comes to our anime tastes. I'll try to throw together my top 10 to compare, but some of the placements would be subject to change since I'm waiting for the finale of Release The Spyce tomorrow and the last few episodes of Hugtto Precure.

From your list, A Place Further Than The Universe is the only show that I'm even slightly interested in watching. I didn't watch it as it aired because that Winter season had so many shows that I was interested in that I simply couldn't watch them all, but it's in my backlog as a "maybe I'll find time to watch it later" show.

Like I said, it went in my "maybe I'll watch it later" pile because that Winter season was completely packed with shows that I was interested in, and I had to trim down somewhere. Obviously in hindsight I wish I had picked it over mediocre stuff like Beatless and Darling In The Franxx, but oh well.
