Since I wasn't able to get much of anything last time I asked, I'm asking in here this time. What Anime should I watch during the next few days? I'm planning on watching Gab Dropout, catch up on RWBY, and maybe Made in Abyss but I want some other ideas to float in my head otherwise. Just no shows that are still airing, I want to watch them all in one sitting.

Since I was conveniently dumping gifs of this show in another topic earlier, I'll just copy some of them over here and tell you to watch Revue Starlight.

Yeah, it's like the other stuff is some dece fantasy stuff, but I'm in on Overlord to watch Ains and Friends be overpowered. The moment all those peeps entered into Ains's tomb, I was getting so excite. Then, they don't like even try and all these peeps get wreckt. Oh, so satisfying. Did get a little sad at the end of that ep though. RIP.

Also, I love those two little elves. Aura and Mare? They just land over in that other country, demand an apology, and kill everyone in the courtyard to assert dominance. Fantastic.

I disagree. Making a constantly running show that goes that long would cause a lot of drops in animation quality (like those two shows you mentioned) so I would prefer long-runners like that to be split into seasons like this. It gives more time for production and more time to fix animation issues.

As someone who doesn't read manga at all and only watches anime, that point never even crossed my mind. But that's also true, they would run out of source material a lot sooner and have to resort to weak anime-only filler arcs. Naruto and One Piece are notorious for that, and (thankfully) Black Clover hasn't sunk to that level yet.

Nope, I could probably do the math, but One Piece actually has the least filler to story ratio, of any shonen, TBH. Filler arcs are only really ever like 3 episodes at most(except the LLR arc which was like, 10, I think?), and that there's maybe one a year.

The talk shit part. These are the single best moments in all of Overlord. They talk all this shit without realizing just how motherfucking outclassed they are. Then when they get stomped and realized just what they were dealing with. So satisfying. This is why I watch Overlord.

For those interested in The Rising Of The Shield Hero, it's actually getting 100% simuldubbed. As in, Crunchyroll will put up the dubbed version of the episodes at the exact same time as the subbed version. It's being dubbed by Bang Zoom, which seems to be Crunchyroll's go-to studio now that the Funimation deal is done. Despite this, since the deal was negotiated before the split, Funimation will also get the dub of this series on their streaming service, but not the subbed version.

With Crunchyroll now getting into the simuldubbing game with Funimation and HiDive, this is truly great news for fans of dubbed anime.

Yeah, but I think she meant more his inner dialogue. Definitely in the dub at least, the first couple seasons made him out to be a guy just protecting himself and his people. He made deals with people, he avoided straight up murder as much as possible. He staged ways in which both his Lich reality and the human-like guise he took would have power and influence without much issue.

Season 3, we see him murder people who last season he would have taken in as subordinates, and then murder seemingly hundreds of thousands of people to "make a point" he could have done with just murdering the King.

Jeff, it actually specifically comments on that his continued existence as a Lich is slowly eroding his human emotions and empathy, and is why he's having more and more villainous moments like that.

I mean, not exactly. It was more so because he was in an unfamiliar place, he doesn't know anything about this world, and more importantly, the capabilities of the people and creatures in it. Because of that, he wanted to keep a low profile, so they didn't make much noise, and stuck with protecting his people and gathering information without making a ruckus. He talks about on many occasions how he really doesn't care much for the people of the world. Plans have changed now, so he can make big displays of power. And as the show goes on, his human conscience is fading more and more into the Lich. Like, when he slaughtered the King's forces, he said he should have hangups, but he doesn't. All that matters is furthering Nazarick's power.
