Most of the story beats felt recycled from the original, it did little to expand the world, and the cool stuff they could have explored ~~like different schools of magic, the backstory of the antagonist, etc~~ never come to fruition at all. Also felt like they had only 15 episodes of content spread over 24. Felt VERY bare bones. Considering that I watched about 20 shows this year, not being in the top 10 means that it was in the lower half of all the anime I watched. It was still fun, but not nearly as fun as it should have been or what I hoped it would be. EDIT: Just double checked, it was exactly 20. Bunny Girl Senpai 8. Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet 9. Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! 10. Grand Blue This would be my top 10 this year based on the enjoyment of each series. But stuff like Gakkou no Juliet, Takagi-san, Hi-Score Girl, and Grand Blue are some of my favorite manga series. Say hello to the cast of Star Twinkle Precure: Precure forms: Civilian forms, which look a bit younger than their transformed versions: Visual for the upcoming movie: Pink = 'Cure Star', Hikaru Hoshina Blue(-ish green) = 'Cure Milky', Lala Hagorumo Yellow = 'Cure Soleil', Erena Amamiya (Erena might possibly end up translated as Elena in the subtitles, like how Ruru became Lulu in Hugtto Precure) Purple = 'Cure Selene', Madoka Kaguya The new series begins Sunday, February 3, which means that (factoring in this weeks episode and no new episode next week due to the holidays) there are probably 4-5 episodes of Hugtto Precure left before it ends and they pass the baton to the Star Twinkle cast. There's also the upcoming Precure Miracle Universe movie in mid-March, which will feature the new cast alongside the casts of the previous two series, Hugtto Precure and Kira Kira Precure A La Mode. Based on her look and her name, I'd guess that she's a foreigner, or at the very least she's half-Japanese and half-something-else.
