I just prefer to do other things. It is actually quite easy to be a talkative person.
Being social basically just equates to being talkative and open to ideas.
I prefer to be quiet unless I have something to say to prevent myself from looking like an idiot.
I have a strong hatred of Bars and Alcoholism so I will never go to a Bar unless I absolutely have to in a social context. You will never see me drink in any case.

You could just say that you are irreligious, although I like the concept of anti-theism more.
The notion of having faith in something that cannot be proven. is absurd and only exists to control the masses.
My long standing belief is that Atheism is a form of organized religion, which is why I can never associate myself as that.

There's a distinct difference between being comfortable with social interaction, being uncomfortable with social interaction, being comfortable with but disinterested in social interaction, and being so disconnected from human emotion and social cues that you have to intellectualize every social interaction like an alien pretending to be human.

Different people fall into different categories.

It kind of started out as sarcastic contrast, but sort of just mutated into idiom.

Either way, the people who throw tantrums about it are kind of just being pedantic dicks. Do you also correct people when they talk about letting cats out of bags or being hoist by your own petard and point out that there aren't any cats or that no one's used a petard for centuries and almost no one knows what the hell it is anymore anyway?

It's very much like people using literally to mean figuratively - that ship sailed before any of us on this board were born, and it's not coming back no matter how loudly Grammar Nazis on the Internet scream about it. Nor does anyone give a fuck that people use the word "irony" to mean things that aren't strictly "ironic" by the original definition of the term. Language mutates, and words and phrases take on new connotations via social contract.
