Really depends on what I'm making, but I love Fusilli for its shape as it gets the sauce into its curves, making for yummy pasta.

Protip: if you finish cooking the pasta with the sauce, the sauce will usually mix with the pasta, which helps it not taste entirely like pasta, but sauce. If that makes sense.

what I usually do (since I live alone) is I cook a whole box of pasta, strain it, then add a whole jar of sauce

I'll eat a serving (or two) and then leave the rest on the stove overnight so it'll soak in.
as long as I cover it, it usually stays warm on the stove top

I don't really have a fav shape, but when I was little I absolutely refused to eat mac n cheese with elbow noodles. I'd eat it with rotini and spagetti noodles but for some reason I had a problem with elbows, lol.

Me too, luckily my local stores always carry them so I'm able to get them often. I'd say my second favorite is fusilli since the spiral shape is a good way of keeping sauce on the pasta.
