Magus would beat many of those seeded above him. The SFF against Vincent hurt him and Vincent ultimately suffered mant anti-votes which Magus wouldnt have, thereby affecting Magus extrapolation.

Really? CT and FF are both RPGs. They both have extremely similar gameplays and themes and whatnot. It would be a safe bet that many, if not most, people who voted played both games. So thats why there is SFF.

Wrong. Now that you know how SFF influenced this match, you can seek to understand this: there are many people who like both Magus and Vincent but like Vincent more and as such voted for him. So once he won, the anti-Vincent people still voted against him, whereas had Magus won there would not have been any anti-voting because people dont hate Magus.

What Im saying is they share the same fan base but not the same anti-fan base. Got it?

Past contest scores, you say? What are those matches you've picked that demonstrate your supposed unique understanding of SFF, if I might ask? (And don't say Vincent > Magus because I'm not buying SFF swaying that for a second.) The only match I can think of this contest that may have been determined by SFF is Bowser > Kirby, if you called that correctly, unless you're participating in the Oracle under some alt I'm unaware of. And many others also called Bowser beating Kirby correctly in their brackets, including myself.
