Rikku is an odd character in this, bunch of top 10s but she never feels like she has a chance at winning, at least to me. And since she is usually the person I end up supporting when all my top people are gone it seems like she is always struggling by the time I join on lol.

But i get being really upset with working hard to fall one vote short of your goal so do whatever you guys feel like. I've been super casual this year so i obviously can't ask for favors.

That described everyone left including Seymour though. Hasn't charon been participating in this just as long as Shoenen? Where was his giftwrapped win man I just don't understand anything anymore.

This has been a good year for Rikku partially because Leftys wider range of round start times has enabled me to participate in more rounds than I had been able to under Leon. Any rounds posted right in the dead-middle of the afternoon in the US I will invariably sleep through, but earlier and later rounds are generally okay for me, and there have been more of them this year. That being said, Prof certainly gets the most credit of anyone for Rikkus success this year.

And though Rikku is obviously a strong character, for the longest time she was the highest character in stats to never have a finals appearance. Im not sure if thats still true now though.

I have in fact been participating in every SMFFFC since the first one, and it would certainly be gratifying to finally see her win, but she has had plenty of good showings over the years, and this years run has been fun, so I wont be too disappointed if she cant make it. Thanks too all who have supported her over the years.

Seymour's initial stint in the contest couldn't have gone much worse - he only managed to reach the top half once in five tries, and even that one barely went anywhere. Since his return, it's been an entirely different story, with every appearance in the top half and multiple top tens. Seymour jumps from 58.35% to 61.17%, good for a 5 spot gain to 29th.

Contradictory, I know, but FFX has a legacy of victory to maintain when it comes to finals appearances, and I don't plan on breaking it. Something to keep in mind I guess. >.>
