On the main point, there's really only one choice - Lightning is out and eddv is banned for one round.

Other things... are not so cut and dry.

I mean Januss should be pretty cut and dry. Unless you want to start using intent to malice.... which even the courts with evidence actual lawyers have a hard time proving intent.

I don't want to get too deep into arguing this one way or the other, but people in this topic can respond to NRs in like 5 seconds. Two minutes is more than enough time to Ctrl+F a username on a few pages to compare timestamps and then type a couple sentences.

It's true. The only way this is even remotely plausible is if he already had the sheet open and was monitoring save times as is (which would imply that you'd likely have already discovered it)-- because otherwise, you've got to do the following things in 2 minutes:

1. Realize "maybe I should check his time real quick"
2. Grab the link for the spreadsheet
3. Open it, find go to Eddv's save time
4. Type out your gloat post

Oh and by the way during that time, you also need to get your Gilgamesh save in at just the right moment since you haven't made that yet, you need to be monitoring the topic for saves.

If you're an automaton, this is easily doable within 2 minutes, but that kinda instant thinking is unrealistic. Realistically someone at the end of the rush is probably thinking about their save priorities and who they'll save if their #1 priority gets saved, not instantly running over to the spreadsheet. Also a dude making one early save really doesn't make it more likely they've made two.

Assuming I'm not banned, she's down 3 saves from today (Eddv's two since he's banned, and my hour 4 since that won't be happening.) If I can get Burke to show up, he saves Edea, and you trade once, that's (theoretically) 9 saves. The only problem is that she'd have to get an extra save from somewhere, which is admittedly unlikely.

If GMUN notices someone saved Light early he shouldnt be fucking obligated to give an advantage to someone he hates. He can do the honorable thing if he wants, but he should not be forced to do so in a contest purely about our favorite characters and characters we hate in this series. Now GMUN shouldnt be allowed to not say anything and then fuck her over himself. But if he keeps it to himself and hopes someone else catches it after round ends, bravo to him.

You should not be barred from shit. But if you again feel you owe it to sit out thats completely up to you, and no one should have a problem with your decision.

Pretty much. He got like 3 or 4 characters lawyered out in 2-3 contest span or something like that because he kept finding early saves and not speaking up until they were lawyered out.

I will say, can we get rid of the save times tab on the spreadsheet? If lefty isn't even bothering to check it while adding, that's a whole lot of extra work for no benefit. I'd prefer honest chaos over a false sense of security.
